When natural sunlight hits the skin it triggers the body’s production of vitamin D. Vitamin D is also known as “the sunshine vitamin.” It is a crucial ingredient for overall health; protects against inflammation, lowers high blood pressure, helps muscles, improves brain function and may even protect against cancer. It is also a a great way to learn and maintain happy and healthy kids !!

This was definitely a great learning environment. We recommend all our parents try this !!

To our dearest parents,

As we all know, COVID-19 has had a significant impact on our lives. For most of us, it has been a challenge balancing work, parenting and home schooling. Trust us when we say that we understand and that we are heavily grateful for all the efforts you have put in.

On that note, we thought it was a good time to share some very insightful and thought-provoking information.

Growing up, merit awards have been the most under appreciated reward mechanism.

In fact, studies have identified that merit awards assist improve a child's self-esteem, intrinsic motivation, perseverance and overall wellbeing. It is also one of the greatest parenting tools, especially during these times !!

We hope that this may make parenting throughout these times more helpful !

On that note, Congratulations to our very own Gabrielle, who did so well on his first day back at school !

As we are all aware, the Corona Virus is taking over the world, be it in politics, health, wellbeing, society and even food. Don’t let it be Education too. We are here to help! Schools potentially closing down? Worried about your (child’s) health? K and P Education comes bearing gifts.

I failed. I failed to get my desired ATAR. I failed to pass my trials. I failed to get into the best university. I failed to realise that it was the journey that matters not the destination.

December 12, 2016: Sitting down at my work kitchen whilst taking a “bathroom break”. My hands shaking as I await my ATAR. After a few moments of silence, there it was. The number. The number I had awaited 13 years for.

As I stared at my phone I realised, hang on, it wasn’t enough, it wasn’t enough to go to best university. It wasn’t enough to get into my degree.

I look back at this day and think to myself, what an idiot for not realising that I had suceeded.

Three years later, attended UNSW for criminal law, attending UTS for a commerce and education degree. And now working for a large company in the city.

The moral of this story, is to realise that everyone is on their own path. Persevere, hustle and keep going.

For all our new students, good luck. You’ll be hearing this story a lot 😂.
