Hey guys! We are Chinese Psychology Students Society (CPSS) at The University of Sydney. Here is a short summary of the various activities that we have held this past semester. Let’s take a look together!
In April, CPSS organized a report writing seminar for psychology students, especially Year 1 students who were struggling on writing reports. We invited two speakers who both scored HDs in their psychology courses to share their experiences and offer personal tips on writing academic reports.
CPSS also collaborated with CherishHeart Studio and held a career seminar, which was focused on counseling experiences in China. We invited David Gu to share his thoughts and to answer the participant’s questions. David Gu is a registered counsellor, and he worked for more than three years in this field already.
In May, in collaboration with SUCSA, CPSS organized an online tea party, where we provided students in USYD an anonymous platform to share and talk about their worries with peers. We also supported and encouraged participants to speak up and release their pressure during this relaxing online tea party.
In addition, CPSS also posted seven original articles on our WeChat official account. We discussed interesting psychological topics that are related to young people’s daily life, such as procrastination, internet dating, and spoiler. Please feel free to subscribe to our WeChat official account if you are interested!
