♻️💙 RECYCLED WITH LOVE FOR DAD! 💙♻️

This Father’s Day, even our gift wrapping became a special learning experience! 🎁✨

Instead of using new wrapping paper, we reused Woolworths paper bags and gave them a beautiful new purpose. 🌏♻️

The children became little designers, decorating the paper themselves with drawings, colourful pictures and stickers. 🎨🖍️⭐ Each wrapping was unique and made with lots of love for Dad!

Through this simple activity, the children learned that we don’t always need to throw things away — we can reuse, recycle and get creative with materials we already have. 🌱

A beautiful Father’s Day gift made even more meaningful with little hands, big imaginations and love for our planet. 💚🌏

💙✨ HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO ALL OUR AMAZING DADS! ✨💙

What a beautiful afternoon we had celebrating the wonderful dads and father figures in our children’s lives! 👨‍👧‍👦💕

Our Father’s Day Afternoon Tea was filled with laughter, love, teamwork and lots of special memories. 🥰

The children and their dads enjoyed some fun activities together, including:

👔 “Daddy’s Peg Challenge” – lots of laughs while putting those fine-motor skills to the test!
🕶️ “Dress Up Like Daddy” – the children had so much fun stepping into Dad’s shoes!
🎨 Daddy & Me Colouring – creating special pictures together.
🧩 Daddy & Child Portrait Puzzles – dads and children worked together to solve their very own photo puzzles!
🎂 Cake Cutting Celebration – because every special celebration deserves some cake!

One of the sweetest moments was when the children proudly wore the “I ❤️ My Daddy” T-shirts they had painted especially for the occasion. They danced and sang along to “I Love My Daddy”, making the afternoon extra special. 🎶💃🕺❤️

It was wonderful to see our children spending this precious time with their dads, sharing smiles, cuddles and laughter while creating beautiful memories together.

A heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful dads who joined us and made our celebration so special. 💙

🪷✨ Happy Raksha Bandhan – Celebrating the Beautiful Bond of Siblings! ✨🪷

Today we celebrated the love, care and special bond shared between brothers and sisters. 💕👫

Our little ones got creative and made beautiful Raksha Bandhan greeting cards for their siblings. 🎨💌 With lots of colours, decorations and tiny hands working with love, each greeting became a special little gift to take home. 🥰

Through this meaningful experience, the children explored creativity and fine motor skills while also learning about family, love, kindness, caring and the joy of giving. 🌸

Wishing all the wonderful brothers and sisters a very Happy Raksha Bandhan! 🧿❤️

🐷🐷🐷 “Little Pig, Little Pig, Let Me Come In!” 🐺🏠💨

What happens when a favourite story jumps right off the pages and comes to life? 📖✨

As part of our Book Week celebrations, today we stepped into the wonderful world of The Three Little Pigs! 🐷

After reading the story together, our little builders got busy creating the pigs’ three houses:
🌾 A straw house using foam
🪵 A stick house using popsicle sticks
🧱 A strong brick house using tiny bricks

Then came the BIG BAD WOLF! 🐺😮

“Little pig, little pig, let me come in!”

And our little pigs confidently replied…

“Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!” 😂

Then came everyone’s favourite part — HUFFING and PUFFING to see which house could stand strong! 💨🏠 The children laughed, acted out the characters and enthusiastically joined in with the familiar story dialogue.

Through this playful Book Week experience, the children explored early literacy, storytelling, sequencing, construction, problem-solving, creativity and dramatic play — all while having so much fun! 🌟

✨🧸 PJ DAY FUN! 🧸✨

What a warm, cosy and fun-filled Pyjama Day we had! 💕🌙

Our little ones arrived in their warm and super-cozy pyjamas, ready for a day full of relaxation, imagination and sensory fun. 🥰

📚 We snuggled up under blankets and enjoyed some lovely story time together.
🎨 We got creative by decorating our very own pyjamas using stickers and stamps.
🔦 We built a cosy dark room using blankets and pillows and explored with torches, creating a magical little world of light and shadows.
🧸 The children enjoyed lots of imaginative play, crawling, hiding and playing together in their cosy blanket spaces.
☕ And of course, Pyjama Day wouldn’t be complete without a special treat — warm hot chocolate milk! 😋💕

It was such a beautiful day filled with sensory exploration, creativity, pretend play, connection and lots of happy little giggles. 🌟

A big thank you to our families for sending the children in their gorgeous pyjamas and helping us make the day extra special! 💗

🦷✨ Dental Health Week at Smallwonders Family Day Care! ✨🦷

This week our little learners explored how to keep their smiles healthy! 😁 They sorted and cut pictures of foods to discover which foods help our teeth stay strong and healthy and which ones should only be enjoyed sometimes.

To extend their learning, the children also practised brushing their teeth after mealtimes, learning the correct brushing technique and building healthy habits that can last a lifetime.

Learning through play today, healthy smiles for tomorrow! 💙🪥🍎🥕🍭

🔤✨ Dot by dot, big learning begins! 🎨💙

Who knew a simple Q-tip could do so much? Today our little artists transformed the first letter of their name into colourful masterpieces using Q-tip painting!

As they carefully dotted each letter, they were building strong little hands, developing pencil control, improving concentration, and proudly recognising the special letter that belongs to them. Every tiny dot was a giant step towards future writing success! 💛
