Today, our Preschoolers enjoyed another wonderful visit to the LeapFrogs Program at Rosemeadow Public School. 🎒✨
The children had the opportunity to participate in a range of engaging school readiness experiences while continuing to become familiar with the school environment. They enjoyed spending time with their peers, exploring new learning opportunities, and building confidence in a school setting. 💚

🐣🎨 Preschool Chicken Handprint Fun! 🎨🐣

Our Preschoolers had so much fun getting creative with paint as they used their handprints to create adorable chicken artworks! The children loved exploring different colours, making prints, and watching their handprints transform into little chickens.
Handprint activities provide many wonderful learning opportunities. They help develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and self-expression while encouraging children to engage in sensory exploration. The children were proud of their unique creations and enjoyed sharing their masterpieces with their friends.
It was a wonderful experience filled with laughter, creativity, and lots of messy fun! 🐥💛

🖍️ Little Hands, Big Creations! ✨
Today in our Preschool room, the children had so much fun exploring their environment through a creative tracing activity ✏️✨

Using paper and pencils, the children chose different objects from around the room to trace — from blocks and toys to everyday classroom items. There was lots of excitement as they discovered new shapes, sizes, and patterns, turning familiar objects into their own little masterpieces 🎨
This hands-on experience supports early writing skills, strengthens fine motor development, and encourages hand-eye coordination. It also helps children build confidence as they experiment with lines, curves, and control in a fun and meaningful way.
Most importantly, there were plenty of smiles and laughter as the children shared their creations with friends💛

✨ Chipmunks Mini Makers Club – STEM Experience ✨

This week our little scientists explored the exciting world of magnetism through a hands-on outdoor experience! 🧲🌿
Using magnetic tiles, the children experimented by sticking them onto the metal fence in our outdoor yard. Their creativity quickly came to life as they designed, built, and problem-solved together. 💡💛
To make their creations even bigger and better, some children cleverly used the obstacle course steps to build higher structures. The excitement was contagious as ideas began to flow!
We heard all sorts of imaginative creations being proudly shared — from magical trees 🌳, robot caterpillars 🤖🐛, and soaring rockets 🚀, to tall and colourful towers 🏗️✨
This experience encouraged children to explore STEM concepts in a fun, playful way while building imagination, teamwork, and curiosity about how things work. 💫

Our little learners had the sweetest time creating their very own Rainbow Plates! 🌈✨
With a colourful selection of apples, pears, oranges, pineapple, kiwi, and berries, the children explored healthy choices in a fun, hands-on way. Using tongs to carefully select their fruit, they proudly built their own vibrant creations.
This engaging experience supported independence, strengthened fine motor skills, and encouraged positive eating habits—all while discovering new colours, textures, and tastes! 🍽️💛

🐰🌸 Easter Fun at Chipmunks in the Meadow! 🌸🐰

We had a wonderful time celebrating Easter at Chipmunks in the Meadow! Our Easter Event was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of festive fun! The children had a wonderful time participating in creative Easter arts and crafts, hands-on sensory experiences, and a very special visit from the Easter Bunny. Dressed in their Easter hats and big smiles, the children explored, played, and enjoyed celebrating this special occasion together. The highlight of the day was the exciting Easter Bunny visit, which brought so much joy and excitement to the children as they interacted and shared this magical moment with their friends and educators. Thank you to our wonderful families for being part of this special celebration and helping make the day so memorable. We hope everyone had a fantastic Easter and enjoyed the fun as much as we did!
