As we conclude another term of learning, I wish to express my sincere appreciation for the way our community continues to embody wonder, wisdom and witness in all that we do. Our students have approached their learning with enthusiasm and resilience, growing not only in their academic understanding but also in their friendships, confidence and sense of belonging. Their willingness to meet challenges, celebrate achievements and support one another reflects the strong values at the heart of our school.

As we enter the holiday break, may it be a time of rest, renewal and joy for all. I pray that God watches over each of you in your travels and activities, and that the weeks ahead offer moments of peace and joy with your family.

🏆 Well done to our final award winners for Term 3!

This week, Year 6 students completed a First Aid course which focused on developing practical, age-appropriate lifesaving skills. During the session, students learnt about recognising an emergency and calling 000, placing someone in the recovery position, basic bleeding control, asthma and anaphylaxis, and an introduction to DRSABCD and CPR principles. This was a valuable opportunity for students to develop important first aid knowledge and skills that could help them respond confidently in an emergency.

🏆 Congratulations to the award winners for Week 9!

Year 1 had a fantastic time at Sydney Zoo, learning about the features of different animals, their habitats and life cycles. Students were able to make connections and communicate what they have learnt throughout the term as part of our Science unit on living things.

Today was the East Hills Network Interschool Public Speaking Grand Final. St Felix had 2 students participating, Oliver from Year 4 and Renee from Year 6, both of whom were the winners of our St Felix competition. Oliver and Renee both delivered amazing speeches, full of interesting and wonderful content. They engaged the audience and were a credit to our St Felix community. A special congratulations to Oliver who was announced as the winner of the Stage 2 Interschool Grand Final, the first time St Felix has achieved this success. Well done Oliver and Renee on your fantastic achievements, we are all very proud of you at St Felix.

EUREKA!!!! In Week 6, Year 5 experienced what it was like to be part of the Gold Rush during their Gold Rush Discovery Excursion. Starting our day as farmers and herding Macarthur Merinos into their pen, we were then magically transported to the Gold Rush in Bathurst. After purchasing a mining licence, we worked in syndicates to strike it lucky on the goldfields, both panning and digging to see who could find the most gold. A fun day was had by all.

It’s RU OK? Day — a perfect reminder to pause and check in with one another. Our students brought the joy with a disco on the playground and our staff enjoyed a healthy treat together. A simple reminder that small acts of care make a big difference!
