Bhaxaghar

Established in 2011 by the late Mrs. Lily Baruah, a retired teacher from Shillong, this group has thrived for more than ten years.

BHAXAGHAR Sydney is a non-profit organisation dedicated to fostering Assamese language and culture among the younger generation of Assamese individuals residing in Australia. With a collective enrolment of over 30 students and the support of 14 volunteer parent educators, Bhaxaghar has effectively connected our Australian-Assamese children to their Assamese heritage and principles.
