And that’s a wrap on Book Week at Love of Learning Mount Druitt

What a way to finish! 😍 The Book Parade was SO much fun, and the puppet show our amazing educators organised was the perfect closing act.

Honestly, this is what makes Love of Learning Mount Druitt so special, our educators don’t just teach, they create, imagine, perform and bring learning to life❤️

A huge shout-out to our incredibly creative educators for putting so much effort, love and imagination into making Book Week so memorable for our children. 👏

And to our little stars… thank you for the gorgeous costumes, big smiles and for making the parade look like a mini Hollywood production 😂

Book Week 2026,you will definitely be missed. Until next year… when our educators will probably come up with something even crazier.

Book Week is even more special when our families get involved.

We absolutely loved seeing our parents spend quality time with their children, read stories together, get creative with costumes and dress their little ones up for this special celebration.

At Love of Learning Mount Druitt , we believe that when families and educators work together, children feel supported, confident and connected. Parent involvement strengthens relationships, encourages a love of learning and creates beautiful memories that children will carry with them.

Thank you to all our wonderful families for being part of our Book Week celebrations and for always bringing so much joy and enthusiasm to our centre.

Because apparently, we just cannot let any celebration pass us by. If there’s a celebration happening, you can be sure Love of Learning Mount Druitt is already planning something! 🎊

This Book Week, we’re not just reading books, we’re creating memories. We’re so excited to have some of our wonderful parents joining us to read stories and spend quality time with the children.

At Love of Learning, we truly value strong relationships with our families and the wider community. When parents and educators come together, children feel supported, connected and confident. ❤️

Reading together helps children develop their language, imagination, confidence and love of learning and when families are involved, it makes the experience even more meaningful!

Science Week has officially landed at Love of Learning Mount Druitt

And you know us… we don’t miss ANY special day😂 If there’s a special week, we’re celebrating it, because every opportunity is an opportunity for our children to learn, explore and have fun.

Our Science Week adventures have officially started, so stay tuned… wait and watch for our new uploads throughout the week.

There will be lots of experimenting, investigating, discovering and, of course, a little bit of “WOW, how did that happen?!”

Because at Love of Learning, learning never takes a day off! ❤️

Water Safety at Love of Learning Mount Druitt

At Love of Learning Mount Druitt, we always place children’s safety at the heart of everything we do. We believe it is important to teach children practical safety measures and help them understand how to keep themselves safe in different situations.

With summer just around the corner, we organised a Water Safety Talk with Michelle, who delivered an engaging and age-appropriate lesson for the children. She taught them important water safety skills, including what to do to seek help and how to stay safe around water.

Water safety education is so important, especially as children spend more time around pools, beaches and other waterways during the warmer months. Teaching these skills early helps children build awareness, confidence and safe habits that can protect them in an emergency.

A big thank you to Michelle for helping our children learn such an important life skill! 💦❤️

At Love of Learning Mt Druitt, we love creating meaningful learning experiences that help children grow every day.

This week, we celebrated Dental Health Week by keeping our children engaged in fun, hands on activities about the importance of health and hygiene. They explored ways to care for their teeth and learned why a healthy smile matters.
