What Does "Verified by Sertifier" Actually Mean?

If you have completed a CertSmart Pathways course, you will have noticed the Verified by Sertifier logo on your digital badge. You may have wondered what it means — and more importantly, what it means to an employer who sees it.

Here is the short version: it means your credential is real, independently verified, and permanently checkable by anyone, anywhere in the world.

In March 2026, CertSmart Pathways engaged directly with the Australian Government Department of Education's Microcredentials Pilot team.

In response, the Department acknowledged 'the work that CertSmart Pathways is doing to support young Australians.' We continue to design all courses in accordance with Australia's National Microcredentials Framework and issue verified digital badges through Sertifier for transparency and global portability.
