Here is a little more you may like to know about me -
I am trained in drama, english and religion for the classroom and for life. I love it all, especially watching young people create.
I have also trained as a meditation and yoga teacher with over 500 hours in study and 10+ years of active practice.
I love nature and all the nature beings.
Breath was a powerful tool in my personal healing after a high impact trauma to my right leg.
I love to sing, dance, laugh and play.
I love swimming in the ocean, climbing mountains and watching storms.
I adore my kids and love watching them in their true element.
Sitting under waterfalls is the best, so is listening to the magpies sing and the kookaburras laugh.
Meditation in nature is the best!

Maroubra locals are you aware this is being pushed with pressure at present?!? It’s been on the precinct updates for ages and the arguments has been against- but pressure is on right now and our voices are needed - the power of the people. The government is looking at 5 across Sydney Metro - Matraville the closest to our community. Understand more here. Toxic plumes across Sydney no thanks. Any innovators out there with new ideas for managing Australia’s growing waste problem?
There is NO benefit to the local Matraville community. The Matraville waste plant and 65 metre high (18 storey) vent stack will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and so will the heavy vehicles going to and from the plant. The power is not being used to generate lower cost energy for residents, it is purely being used to the decrease the energy costs for the paper Mill – the only benefactors are Suez and Opal. The closest residential home to the proposed site in Matraville is 130m away, and child care centres, schools, parks and the ocean are in the immediate surrounding area. Meditation doesn't need to be hard. Dadirri is sitting in silence listening to Mother Nature - listening deeply. Sitting, connecting & listening.

Hi Everyone,
Now with the current climate its more important to connect than ever -so let's get together & breathe. I've been studying and training online for years. Now I'm using *ZOOM to offer meditation online to those who are ready to embrace their breath, raise their vibration & turn to their inner calm.
We meet each Wednesday night in our online community and I'll share with you the tools of meditation that have changed my health and life.
This is a time of significant change. Change raises fear and uncertainty, leading to stress and anxiety. Meditation is key in reducing stress, supporting a healthy immune system; it encourages optimism and a state of calm awareness.
When we steady the mind and nourish the body we can sit in the quiet and hear our inner guidance.
• reduce your stress
• sleep better
• steady your mind
• feel calmer & happier
• support your health
This is a weekly meet- up on Wednesdays for 75mins. Each week I'll walk you through various meditation exercises and lead your practice to allow you to develop these life-changing tools that you can take with you into your day.

A restless mind feels too busy, is full of information & thoughts that overcycle. A restless mind freezes up, becomes foggy and shuts down.
A restful mind is calm, steady, able to take in lots of information and processes it clearly. A calm mind is active, engaged and clear of clutter.
We can turn a restless mind into a calm mind through a few minutes of conscious breathing. Breath centred meditation brings back the balance.

I have 18 years experience working with young people & their teachers in secondary schools & 10 years of guiding young people in this style of mindful breathing practice.
Let's breathe!

Students feel the benefits of 'dropping everything to breathe' straightaway. The more regularly meditation occurs, the better the results. Instant benefits as noted from students include, a state of calm, feeling at peace, feeling alert & relaxed.
With consistency over several weeks students felt they were less reactive, had sharper brain function and were more positive. Make 'breathe breaks' part of your school day, support a thrive & flow state in your school.

How we breathe changes how we live. Breath centred meditation even for a short amount of time, switches on the parasympathetic nervous system encouraging the calm state of 'rest and digest'. In this state we feel better and our body has energy to function. When we switch off the stress response we can reduce states of overwhelm, reaction and anxiousness.
