Today, the children explored creativity and culture by painting boomerangs as part of their Reconciliation Week learning experiences.
Through hands-on activities and conversations, the children are continuing to learn about respect, community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures in meaningful and engaging ways 💚

The Bambini Room has kicked off reconciliation week with a sensory exercise to teach the importance of this year's reconciliation message, "All in", and to learn the importance of inclusion and respect.

This year’s theme, All In, is a reminder that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility and encourages all Australians to take meaningful action towards a more united and respectful future.

Through conversations, creative experiences and learning together, the children are exploring respect, inclusion and connection to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and communities.

The children had so much fun riding their bikes and scooters around today, practising balance, coordination, and listening skills. They also did a great job of paying close attention to the stop-and-go signals! 🚦💚

A big thank you to our local firefighters down at Burwood Fire and Rescue NSW 015 Station for all that they do for our community. The children loved showing their appreciation by drawing their favourite everyday heroes 💚
