Studying and looking for something to help boost your resume?

Why not try out of school hours care (OSHC), the care of primary aged children before and after school and during school holidays (vacation care).

It is a wonderful and rewarding career pathway to work in whilst studying, with many staying on to make it their full time profession.

OSHC is regulated by the NSW Department of Education, has a Framework that is like a curriculum (it is fantastic) that has a focus on the social and emotional development of children (told you it was fantastic) with 5 outcomes:

Children have a strong sense of identity
Children are connected to and contribute to their world
Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
Children are confident and involved learners
Children are effective communicators

Why not work in this wonderful child based environment whilst you are studying, gain valuable experience and add to your resume!

We currently have many opportunities popping up due to schools returning and OSHC getting back up and running that may be of interest with options to suit for those that are studying on campus or are completely off campus (online). You can find out more on our website https://fireflyhr.com.au/job-board/ or feel free to email the team at [email protected] as we have lots that may not be on our site yet.

Current areas: Castle Hill, Marsden Park, Box Hill, Riverstone, Baulkham Hills, Rydalmere, and many more areas.

Our team is made up of former OSHC Educators, ECT’s and Primary Teachers – we know what the professions are like and happy to provide any guidance and / or support to help you on your career journey.
