We had a Professional Development workshop today after work. delivered an excellent training session.
It was extremely informative, interactive and so engaging too. Looking forward to our Wingaru Bubs authentic information throughout the next year too.
Truly an eye opener.

We we honored to be a part of the 25 finalist in 2 out of the 3 categories for the State of our Sector Awards.
My grandmother used to say one educated person with a life of experiences is equal to 10 people. But 10 people like that is equivalent to 1000!!
The tapestry of the women at Grow With Me is a reflection of just that. Each educator brings their heart and soul not to just the children but their families too.
With over 72000 educators and almost 6000 centres this was a win in itself.

🔥Fire Safety🔥
Last week we had a visit from the Fire department for community helper’s week.

The Firefighters demonstrated how their work wear helped keep them safe during a fire. They discussed Fire safety with the children and what to do incase of a fire. They practiced a few drills with the children and then gave them a go at using their water hose.

We would like to thank the Fire department for making time for us!

Nothing our children love more than taking home their art work to their families. This week the children decorated Eid cards to celebrate with their parents and siblings.

🌍 Earth Day 🌎

Earth day is celebrated on April 22nd. Earth day is about investing in our planet and protecting our future.

The teachers introduced the children to globe and how planet Earth is our home and we need to take care of it. Our activities this week were inclusive to our different age groups.

The Sprouts made a suprising discovery in our garden this week. They dug up Potatoes! The Sprouts were so delighted by their discovery.

They helped the teacher harvest the potatoes and then wash them clean. The children were able to all take some home that day too.

🍃Nature week🍃
What an adventurous week Nature week has been! This week we started our Nature week topic. Nature has been such an amazing natural resource for our activities this week.

Some of the activities included:
- Dot painting natural resources
- Preserving flowers using contact paper
- Creating crazy hair using leaves
- Spiced fragrant playdough
- Using leaves for sorting
- Creating imprints using leaves

🐛The Very Hungry Caterpillar🐛
This week the seedlings explored this classic.

The teachers developed some creative and interactive ways of re-telling the story to their age group. By the end of the week the Seedlings were able to make their own predictions of what was to come next.

This month we are observing the month of Ramadan. Our teachers and students have been busy bringing the spirit of Ramadan into our classrooms.

🌎 Diversity Week 🌎
We celebrated diversity week from the 11th-21st of March. Diversity week is a great way to start the dialogue of what differences we may share with our peers. We may all come from different backgrounds but sometimes its our differences that bring us together.

We had some awesome activities across all three age groups this week. These activities helped the children understand cultural diversity.
