How goods life of a 2 year old when you live in a construction zone 🚧 we don’t need to buy the plastic version just open your front door.

The children have mastered carrying the shopping and putting it away in appropriate places- dry food/ vegetable box/ cold items/ milk. It takes a team and i must admit it is one of my least favourite household things to do so I save my shopping deliveries for when they are here... team building and well because shopping doesn’t put itself away!

Did you say..... lose parts play... the best kind of play!!

We have been lucky enough to borrow a small amount of frogspawn from a neighbours garden so that the children can observe the tadpoles closely as they change and develop and grow into frogs. They will end up in a local pond. I have have set up a small investigation area where they can make observations of all the developments that they can see, while also finding out more information. Today we discussed what tadpoles and frogs eat and that they were once a tiny little egg. Jojo added that they were like a butterfly which lead to discussions about life cycles. We will add to this daily.

J has announced that because my hand is sore they are moving out and have built their own house in my backyard - fostering the independence!!
