Your dreams aren’t puzzles to be solved by AI. They’re conversations with your unconscious and only you can interpret them. šŸŒ™

Here’s the thing: thousands of people are pasting their dreams into ChatGPT right now, asking what they mean. But generic AI will confidently tell you what your dream ā€œmeansā€, drawing from its training data not from YOUR lived experience.

That’s dangerous. When you repeatedly accept externally imposed interpretations of your inner world, you lose touch with your own authority.

What we need instead? AI that acts as a Socratic guide, asking you the right questions at the right time, following Jung’s structured framework. It prompts you, not the other way round.

I’ve built exactly that: an AI-guided dream analysis tool that walks you through Jung’s method, honouring the principle that only YOU can interpret your dreams - but you don’t have to do it alone.

Done — here’s the updated caption with that line inserted before the hashtags:

Everything in your dream is you.

Not just ā€œyouā€ as the dreamer… but the whole cast:

the angry father figure

the scared child

the dog chasing you

the crumbling house

the beautiful garden

Jung said dreams are a theatre where you’re the scene, the player, the audience… all of it.

And this is why dreams are such a good match for parts work (IFS): they give your parts a vivid form. Instead of searching for ā€œthe part that’s afraid of rejection,ā€ a dream hands you an image you can actually relate to.

Next time you wake up from a dream, try this:

1) Pick one symbol

2) Ask: ā€œWhat part of me is this?ā€

3) Notice how it relates to the other symbols

4) Track the emotion (often the biggest clue)

If you do dreamwork or IFS: what’s your experience?

And if you’re new to this idea: what changes when you apply it to a recent dream?

Ever wake up from a dream and think WTF?

What if that odd image – your boss DJing in your childhood kitchen, a lift that won’t move, a phone that won’t stop ringing – is actually your mind’s way of flagging something you need to notice?

Dreamwork isn’t about mystical decoding. It’s about letting one vivid moment rearrange your attention so you make a slightly wiser choice today than you did yesterday.

In my latest article, I share 6 surprising ways dreamwork helps you in real life.

šŸ™ŒĀ Plus, there’s a simple exercise you can try right now, inspired by everyone’s favourite show.

I’m curious, what would you need to utilise psychedelics effectively for your personal development?

Two hundred billion sunrises 03/08/2023

Witnessing the sunrise at Uluru and Kata Tjuta was a moment of both allure and awakening. šŸŒ… In the rush to capture a fleeting instant of beauty, I was struck by a profound contrast: our pursuit of the ephemeral versus the indigenous people's timeless connection to the land.

Chasing the moment, embracing the eternal.

What drives your pursuit of fleeting moments, and how do you connect with what endures? Let's learn to see beyond the transient, recognising the wisdom in the stories that shape us and the legacies that guide us.

Two hundred billion sunrises It’s 5:40 am, and for the third night in a row, we’re forsaking well-deserved slumber on our holiday. With the excitement of the day ahead…

šŸ’ Have you ever stopped to think that there’s got to be more to life than what you’ve been experiencing? Why are you here and where exactly should you be heading? How do you even begin to navigate this journey?

I’m looking at life, and the value we’re putting out in the world, through a systemic lens. This means a shift from relentless productivity to authentic impact through honouring our place in the systems that make up our world.

šŸ’¼ When I worked in the corporate world, we had a rule for meetings - if you didn't feel like you were adding value, you could leave the meeting and do something more productive. But who's to say what value you may have contributed had you stayed? Today, I know that value can be nuanced. It may not always be immediately tangible, but can emerge in unexpected ways from learning opportunities, supporting and amplifying others, or simply being present.

I invite you to move through the world with clear intentions rather than acting from external expectations. That shift is a process, and I’m here for it! 🧭

I’m curious: In what ways have you noticed that you are an integral part of a system? 🌐 Can you see how this system is connected to other systems too? How does that realisation influence your actions and decisions?

šŸ’Ž How do you perceive the concept of 'value'? Have you ever considered that value can be added not only through what you 'do' but also through how you 'be'?

šŸ•µļøā€ā™€ļø Where are you in the process to making an impact that feels true to you? What is still missing in your approach?
