FAMFO - What families need to know

For most parents in this world, our kids are our fuel. They make us go, constantly - sometimes a little too much - just until we run on empty, and then they fill us up again with their love, laughter and affection.

Raising kids has to be one of the toughest jobs in the world, every age a new phase, and just when you feel like you’ve nailed it, there’s another curve ball thrown at you. Every child is different, and every age presents new delights and new difficulties. And let’s face it, we don’t know what we don’t know.

That’s why there’s FAMFO. It’s a trusted platform for informative, insightful and educational resources that connect parents and carers of school aged kids (pre, primary and high) to relevant advice, products and services.

Our hope is that FAMFO helps you to start difficult conversations with your kids that you’re unsure how to approach; or difficult conversations with your partner about your kids; that it provides you with resources that help you to better counsel and advise your kids; that through education, your kids are exposed to less mean-on-purpose behaviour and cyberbullying; that they can better manage navigating friendships with your support; that it reduces their anxiety; and that overall, it keeps them happier, healthier and protected … because that helps us, as parents to sleep better at night – and we all know we need sleep to cope with our kids, right!? :)
