Today we joyfully celebrate the Feast of the Assumption, marking the day Mary was taken into heaven, body and soul. ✨
A huge thank you to our wonderful RE Leaders for guiding our school community in a beautiful and special Assumption liturgy yesterday. It was a wonderful moment of reflection and prayer for our students. 🙏

Terrific results today for some of our students at the SCS Conference 4 Athletics Championships.
19 students competed earning 2 Gold medals and 5 Bronze medals. An outstanding effort!

Thank you to all the dads who came to the Joseph Fatherhood Initiative last Thursday evening. It was wonderful to see the excitement of the children having this time with their dads. Thank you for being wonderful role models for your children just like St Joseph was for Jesus.

The Joseph Fatherhood Initiative
Last night, St Francis Xavier's hosted our first ever Father’s and Kid’s Night with The Joseph Fatherhood Initiative faciliated wonderfully by Guy Zangari, Family Wellbeing & Education Team, Sydney Catholic Schools. Over 90 people, dads and their kids, gathered on the chilly night to play handball, eat pizza, share stories and special memories, build connections and importantly strengthen the bonds between the dads and their children all while learning more about the gift of fatherhood, the Catholic faith and St Joseph, Jesus’ Father.
Sincere gratitude to Guy Zangari Manager: International Eucharistic Congress for Sydney Catholic Schools, for his generous sharing and leadership, parent helpers and to the STFX Leadership Team for their support throughout the night and without whom the night would not be possible.
We look forward to many more opportunities to strengthen the bonds of family, grow deeper and journey in faith and unite as a STFX community!
