⭐️ Year 4 Geography Excursion ⭐️

25/09/2026

Today, our staff gathered at the Royal Botanic Gardens for our annual Spirituality Day, a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect and nourish our spiritual journey. 🌿✨

As we celebrate the Jubilee Year of St Francis, we explored what it means to live out the Gospel through his inspiring example. Surrounded by the beauty of creation, we reflected on the incarnate Christ, recognising God in all things and renewing our call to follow Jesus. 🙏🌍

What a fantastic day at our Monster Colour Run!

Our students had a wonderful time filled with lots of colour, fun and excitement. It was great to see students, parents and teachers involved, with a special visit from Monty the Monster making the day even more memorable!

Thank you to everyone who joined in and made it such a fun day for Saint Francis Xavier’s Catholic School.

Thank you to all the families who were able to join us for our Stage 2 Family Mass on Saturday night. It was a beautiful celebration with our Parish community and St Catherine of Siena’s. Thank you to Fr Simon for leading us in the Eucharistic celebration.

Mary MacKillop Place Parent Pilgrimage and Retreat

Today our parents journeyed with our Family Educator to St Mary MacKillop Place in North Sydney. It was a wonderful, prayerful experience learning about the life and mission of Australia’s first Saint, Mary MacKillop. We spent time in quiet reflection in the Chapel praying at the tomb of St Mary MacKillop, wandering the peaceful gardens and beautiful spaces.

Helping Hands- Vinnies Sandwich Making

This morning our staff came in extra early and put their faith into action to prepare sandwiches for the Vinnies Van that will go out to feed those most in need tonight in Liverpool.

Thank you to the beautiful staff of STFX Lurnea for donating and preparing all the ingredients ahead of time, for those who helped make, wrap and label 90 sandwiches, for those who delivered them and for their generous spirit!

Today Mrs Hibbs and our Family Educator Mrs Erin Gillard presented the Year 12 students of Good Samaritan Catholic College with the Prayer Packs that our community have put together for them in preparation for their upcoming HSC exams and Graduation. Our STFX Families wrote beautiful prayer and encouragement cards for the students they were assigned and will continue to pray for them over the coming weeks. Each pack contains prayers, encouragements and a very special Miraculous Medal blessed by Archbishop Anthony Fisher. We pray these bring much strength and peace.

We offer our sincere congratulations and prayerful support to all the Year 12 students of Good Samaritan Catholic College as they approach these major milestones.

May God bless and keep you all closely in the palm of His hand.
