🗣️ Since graduating from a Bachelor of Communication, specialising in Journalism & International Studies, Emily has continued to work as a television journalist. Throughout her studies, Emily worked in print, radio and television journalism, but found the television format to be the most compelling way to tell stories - combining elements from all forms of media.

Emily currently works as a senior journalist at the Wagga Bureau of 7NEWS.

🗣️ Brooke is a recent journalism graduate from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst. Born and bred in the Central West Hub of Dubbo, Brooke has a tenacious passion for regional communities. Her experience as a storyteller began in local newspapers, including the Narromine Star which she co-founded. During her tertiary studies, Brooke worked in roles within the industry – as a Liaison Producer for Sky News, a radio cadet at National Radio News and a TV reporter for WIN News.

She has recently moved to Wollongong and is in her second month as a reporter for ABC Illawarra. She spent the beginning of April in Melbourne where, alongside the other regional trainees, she received on-site guidance through editorial policies and MOJO. Upon return to the office, she completed her first ABC Weekend Breakfast TV News story. Brooke says while she is ultimately grateful to be a part of the ABC family, she is looking forward to broadening her skills in the cross-platform space - people stories are certainly her forte.

Long term, Brooke would like to stay regional but has her eyes set on either overseas correspondent, long-form or investigatory roles.

🗣️ Gabi has worked within the creative industry for over 15 years. In that time, she’s worked for many creative professionals as well as run her own successful photography & design business. Her work has been published in various printed magazines and online publications. Gabi has also created content for many businesses and individuals, working with them to create content marketing materials to push their businesses even further.

In recent years, she has found a passion for teaching and helping others grow within their own pursuits. Gabi believes in the importance of team collaboration and is constantly looking to increase her skillset further through education and experience.

Gabi is currently studying Master of social and organisational leadership at CSU.
