☎️🧶 Communication and creativity in action!

Using recycled cups and yarn, we have created our own telephones and explored how sounds travel while engaging in imaginative play!

Using rocks found in our outdoor play space, preschoolers explored their creativity by building different shapes such as triangles, rectangles, squares, hearts, and more.

This week at Kelvin Kindergarten, we are proudly recognising Reconciliation Week through meaningful experiences and learning together 🖤💛❤️

Through outdoor sports and play, children built teamwork, balance, coordination, confidence, and cheering skills like little champions! ⚽️ ⭐️

A big thank you to our amazing Grandma Jenny for visiting Kelvin Kindergarten to celebrate Nurse Day with us! 👩‍⚕️💙

We had so much fun learning first aid, seeing photos of Grandma Jenny in her nurse uniform, and discovering how nurses help our community every day.

At Kelvin Kindergarten, in a small group setting, children have more space to join in, listen, take turns and feel confident to try.

For us, learning is not about doing more activities — it is about helping each child feel seen, supported and encouraged.

Little hands, big lessons 🌍✨

We wonderful time exploring sensory play with an Earth Week theme! Through hands-on fun, the children discovered the importance of caring for our planet—practising how to keep it clean by removing “rubbish” and working together to make a difference.

Learning through play helps build awareness, responsibility, and love for our environment from an early age 💚

Preschoolers explored the meaning of ANZAC through stories, reflection, and creativity. 🌺

We created beautiful poppy art and crafts, learning that the poppy is a symbol of remembrance and respect.

We had a wonderful time learning about hand washing through fun water play and music. By singing along and practicing “clean hands,” we’re building healthy habits in the most joyful way!
