Week 5 in the HUB

Today we honour the incredible mothers, grandmothers and mother figures in our school community.

Thank you for the love, strength, patience and sacrifices you make each and every day. Your care shapes hearts, nurtures dreams and helps children grow into the people they are meant to be.

To all mums, especially those in our Parramatta Public School community, we wish you a joyful Mother’s Day!

Building confidence, team work and sporting prowess! We are proud of our students’ commitment to AFL, Netball and Soccer this season and don’t our new uniforms look great 💟

This term, our Stage 2 students have been working with acclaimed Australian conductor and composer Lachlan Massey as part of an exciting music and composition program at Parramatta Public School.
Lachlan is the Artistic Associate at Gondwana Choirs and conducts choirs across a range of major performances, including the Festival of Choral Music.
In Term 2, our Stage 2 classes have been developing their musical skills through collaborative composition workshops, exploring rhythm, melody, lyrics, and performance.
Lachlan has also been working closely with our Student Focus Group to help create a brand new school song for PPS - one that reflects our values, identity, and community.
We are excited to continue this journey and can’t wait to share more updates with our community soon!

Don’t forget our Mother’s Day Breakfast is on tomorrow! Visit to the Community Hub for some student made gifts, lucky drip prizes and activities! Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow morning from 8:00am 💕

We are so proud of our students for their engagement in the Cross Country Carnival. Participation, perseverance and PPS pride was truly on show today 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🌟🌟💟

Don’t forget it is the 3-6 Cross Country and K-2 Fun Day tomorrow! Students are to wear sport uniform and are welcome
to wear a coloured t-shirt to represent their house 💙❤️💛💚

ANZAC Day Assembly 2026 - Thank you Ms Santarossa, Captain Fung, Corporal Casey alongide staff and students at Arthur Phillip High School and Parramatta Public School for a very heartfelt service.

ANZAC Day is a national day of remembrance and we pay respects to those who have served our country.
