Operation Art!
Congratulations to all the students that entered the Operation Art Competition this term. On Tuesday, staff gathered to look at all the amazing works. On Wednesday, students were presented with certificates for their fine efforts. Congratulations to Isla B and Olivia M for creating the winning artworks which will be sent in for the competition. Thank you Mrs Horton for organising this opportunity. Artworks will be on display in our school hall to celebrate these amazing artists achievements.

Debating Success!
A very big congratulations to our Stage 3 debating teams who came up against Narrabeen North Public School in the next round of the competition. Narrabeen Lakes were flying high after the 2 wins against Collaroy Plateau earlier this term. The topics today focused around technology and both teams put together very strong arguments. Students worked collaboratively and produced some very persuasive reasons to support their position. Our students managed to come away with 2 wins in a very tight competition. A big thank you to Narrabeen North PS for visiting us today and competing admirably. Our next debate will be against a team very close to Mr Zappia's heart, Narraweena PS, whose daughter is one of the participants. Let's go Narrabeen Lakes!
A big thanks goes to Mrs Clark for all the organisation for the day and supporting our students.

Our leaders had a successful day at Parliament House today, meeting with our local MP Jacqui Scruby, receiving a tour of the historic building and having a yummy lunch. We are grateful to MP Scruby for the opportunity to learn about leadership from her. Jacqui Scruby

Debating success.
Today our stage 3 debating teams had their first official debate as part of the Premiers Debating Challenge.
They all did an amazing job and came away victorious. Thank you to Mrs Clark for her instruction and dedication to the debating teams.

Walk Safely to School Day! Our students loved participating in this event today, promoting healthy living. We enjoyed a crazy sock celebration and some delicious fruit. Thanks to all of community for joining in the fun of the day.

Mary Poppins! Our Stage 3 students have been rehearsing at Lindfield Learning Village for their big performance this evening. Break a leg!

Today we held our ANZAC Day ceremony at school, a significant occasion where we pause to remember and honour the bravery, sacrifice and service of those who have served our country.
Our students showed great respect throughout the ceremony, reflecting the somber and serious nature of the day. Our school leaders did an amazing job leading the assembly with maturity and pride.
A big thank you to the families who were able to join us and to our student representatives who laid flowers and shared thoughtful poems written by some of our Stage 3 students.
A special mention to Jessie, whose performance of the Last Post and Rouse was incredibly moving, bringing a tear to many eyes.

Regional Swimming - NLPS hits the pool!

Congratulations to Lucas, Jude, Ella and Finn who represented Pittwater PSSA at the Sydney North Primary Swimming Championships yesterday. The kids had a great time and were in awe of the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre! Fantastic stuff, team. Thanks for representing the school with honour and pride.
