It was lovely to attend the P&C meeting with James Griffin MP & the lovely Kim at Parliament yesterday.

The architecture of this building is exquisite and every room has its own purpose and story, quite a magical feeling!

It was great to talk about my business and the things I’m working towards achieving for the younger generation.

The scones were delicious!

It’s really important to put yourself in rooms with people that have more experience than you, people that fit your future, people that are doing the things that you want to do with your life, people that believe in you, people that make you want more for yourself.

You can be and do anything in this life time - don’t let your current mindset trick you into thinking this is it… there are endless opportunities out there, lots of incredible people to meet, it’s not too hard.

I listened to a great neuroscience podcast on the weekend and the host said “people don’t go for their dreams because they don’t feel worthy or capable of them”. It is possible to rewire your thought patterns and change the direction of your life, it’s never to late.

I’m giving life my best shot everyday for the rest of my life. You can too, in fact we can do it together 👯‍♀️

🌟 Term 2 Week 2 highlights + Mother’s Day ❤️🌟👇(swipe to last photo)

“Don’t be less, to be liked”

Last week in my 1 on 1 program, I emphasized the importance of being organized and having a clear understanding of our schedules. We focused on knowing where we need to be, what tasks need to be completed, and when they need to be done. This follows from the work we did the week prior, which centred around cleaning our rooms and establishing a daily routine.

I had a great meeting with KALOF and got some great advice about the future of GRWG.

I was honoured to speak at the Year 11 and 12 assemblies at Mackellar Girls Campus. I love the connection I have with this community.

I attended a beautiful lunch supporting Women and Children first. It was very close to home for me, so I celebrated my strength by being there as this version of myself ❤️

I got published in Peninsula Living magazine (I feel so grateful and, incredibly proud of everything I get to be a part of and what I’m building 🥰)

I had an excellent 2nd GroupCall with all of my girls; they were a lot more confident this week 🚀🚀🚀

I also welcomed 2 new girls into the club ⚡️

The magic is in the work you avoid.

🌟Term 2, Week 1 Highlights🌟

* Facilitated a dynamic 2-day workshop with inspiring Year 11s from Mackellar Girls Campus!

* I was honoured to speak at an assembly in front of bright Year 7-9 students at Killarney Heights High.

* Kicked off the term with an amazing group of girls across my four different one-on-one mentoring programs, they all did great, feel proud of them, proud to mentor them and very excited to spend the next 9 weeks together.

* Beyond the Gloves resumed on Tuesday, too; it was lovely to see everyone!

🍕✨ Yesterday I organised a cute pizza date with some of my Girls! 💖 We had a mix of nerves and excitement since not everyone knew each other, but I took it as a chance to show them that this is what real life is all about. From job interviews to navigating new places, going to new schools, these are the skills we need to foster!

Despite a few missing faces due to the holidays, it was beautiful to witness new friendships blossom and catch up with those who were available.

This lunch was all about building confidence, making new connections, and eating the good stuff. I am not just a coach, I am a friend. What I’m building here is a safe space and its an awesome community where girls can just be themselves.

I couldn’t do that without all of you ❤️❤️

Its not everyday you get to run as Manly’s local woman of the Year ❤️🏆🏃🏼‍♀️

Such a great morning running for Local Kind and great to spend some more time with our incredible MP James Griffin MP, and meet many more beautiful faces.

I said to the videographer after the race “look how far you have come, not how far you have to go & breathe” It’s the key to a lot of life’s hurdles.

Thanks to my family for coming down to see me finish, then as always we went to my fave for breaky.

Happy with my time considering it was a savage incline & I have a sore hip however yesterday wasn’t about time it was about being a part of the community and just enjoying it. We don’t always need to get the A+ or top of the class or to be the best, we just need to show up 🤍

I encourage all my girls to play sport.

It was lovely catching up with the gorgeous, talented, and very inspirational for a coffee in Manly a few weeks ago This is a woman who is well and truly doing it all. Girls, you can do it all!!!

I told G that since receiving my award, I have had a bit of an internal freakout about who I am, what I am supposed to do, and who I am supposed to be. This has caused me to reflect on the kind of person I am and the kind of person I want to be. The best and most important project you will ever work on is yourself.

I’m always working on myself. I don’t get it right every day; nobody does, and nobody expects you to, either. It’s about trying and being consistent, about being honest with yourself, and about holding yourself accountable.

It’s a big question to ask yourself: “WHO AM I?”

How do you speak to yourself when you ask yourself this?

I think it’s very easy to be unkind to yourself in today’s world, a lot of comparisons a lot of “should have, could have, would have” thoughts.

Are you giving yourself a chance?

All of my girls who work with me feel better no matter what program they are on. As soon as they look internally, examine their habits, implement routines, and show up for themselves by simply having a go at “who they want to be,” they feel better ❤️.

IT IS YOU VS YOU YESTERDAY.

Surround yourself with people who inspire you.

Could you show up for yourself differently?

Listen to your body; what is it telling you?

Please don’t hesitate to ask for help.

I love being a part of the Manly community. This is what we are all about.

I am looking forward to more coffee dates with inspirational women and working together to make everyone’s day maybe sparkle a little more than it did yesterday.
