We are delighted to celebrate the success of 15 students whose Major Projects have been nominated for SHAPE, one of the NSW HSC showcase exhibitions recognising exceptional student work. This remarkable result reflects the creativity, technical skill and dedication demonstrated throughout the design process.

Our Year 6 students proudly showcased their learning at our annual PYP Exhibition, the culminating experience of the IB Primary Years Programme. Through inquiry and research, they explored real-world issues linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, demonstrating critical thinking and a commitment to positive change.

It was inspiring to see our students share their knowledge, passion and ideas for action with their families and staff, bringing to life this year's central idea: Our desire to flourish drives us to grow, help others and make a difference. 🌏

For our Year 12 Boarders, graduating means saying goodbye not only to school, but also to a place they have called home and a community that has become family.
On Tuesday evening, they gathered for a final chapel service and intimate dinner with the staff and peers who have supported them throughout their boarding journey. The girls were presented with personalised photo albums filled with memories from their time in Boarding, the perfect way to reflect on their years at RAVO and celebrate their final week alongside their Boarding sisters.

This week is filled with many last moments for our Class of 2026, and among the most memorable was the final whole school assembly for our Year 12 students. Joined by the entire school and their families, we gathered in the brand-new Great Hall to reflect on their time at Ravenswood, sharing memories, messages and farewell to peers and staff.

In a special tribute to the graduating class, the Great Hall opened its doors for the very first time. After months of careful planning and preparation, our Year 12 students were the first to experience this extraordinary new space, making their final assembly an occasion they will never forget.

On Monday, Ravenswood students from Years 5, 6 and 10 took part in an engaging Artificial Intelligence workshop by Neuranext.ai 🤖

Through hands-on demonstrations and discussions, students explored how AI is shaping the world around us, with a special focus on emerging careers in robotics, automation and technology. Students witnessed a glimpse into the future and the exciting possibilities that await the next generation of innovators.

Ravenswood Alumni Lucy Barnes has been serving up creativity and skill on this years season of The Great Australian Bake Off. Lucy has impressed the judges with her beautifully crafted bakes, calm approach under pressure and attention to detail. Having successfully progressed through the opening rounds, she remains in the competition and continues to showcase her passion for baking on the national stage.

We are cheering Lucy on as she advances through the competition and look forward to following her Bake Off journey.

We are excited to announce our School Captains for the Class of 2027! Congratulations to Aishani our new School Captain, joined by Sophia and Audrey, our new School Vice-Captains. A further congratulations to all students who have been appointed leadership positions for 2027.

Speaking to the Class of 2027, Principal Mrs Sue Floro said she is looking forward to working alongside our student leaders, and all of the Year 12 girls, as they embark on their final year of school.

Outgoing 2026 Captains Abby, Jacqueline and Millie, plus the 2026 Prefects, cheered in our new student leaders.
