2. WATER BOTTLE Stay Hydrated. Always. No negotiations.

3. YOUR SHEET MUSIC Know the words. Know the story. Know why you’re singing it.

4. STRAW
Rainbow optional. For SOVT exercises, particularly good for a tired voice.

5. VOCAL STEAMER A vocal coach’s emotional support item.

6. JUMPER
Because apparently every studio must be approximately 4°C.

7. PENCIL If you’re given a note, write it down.

What a day.

The Emerging Artist Intensive was created for young performers who are serious about their craft and want to better understand what it takes to train for a career in musical theatre.

Across the day, we explored vocal health, mental wellbeing, music direction and choreography, giving these young artists insight into both the artistry and the realities of the industry.

Thank you to our incredible guest creatives, and to every performer who showed up ready to learn, work hard and grow. We loved having you.
