The Countdown to Chick Hatch Begins! 🐣
Today, Ms Monica carefully moved our eggs onto their hatching pads and filled the water chambers to create the perfect humid environment for our chicks as they prepare to hatch.
Now comes the exciting part: waiting! If all goes to plan, we are hoping to welcome some fluffy new chicks on Monday.
The children have been eagerly checking on the eggs each day, and we can’t wait to witness this incredible life cycle experience together. Stay tuned for chick updates! 🐥✨

This week, the Kangaroos have begun Reconciliation Week by exploring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stories that teach us about connection to Country, culture and the importance of connected communities. 🖤💛❤️
Through shared stories and discussions, the children have been learning about the deep relationships Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have with the land, each other and their traditions. They have also been exploring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander symbols and discovering how stories can be told through art, using symbols to represent people, places, journeys and connections.
We are proud to create opportunities for learning, respect, and appreciation of the world’s oldest continuing culture. 🌿
