🐣✨ Our Egg Hatching Journey ✨🐣

Over the last two weeks, the children have been on a very special journey—watching our eggs hatch into beautiful baby chicks!

From patiently waiting and observing tiny cracks appear, to witnessing the magical moment each chick hatched, the children were able to experience the wonder of life up close. This hands-on experience supported their understanding of growth, change, and the life cycle in a meaningful and memorable way.

As the days went by, the children loved checking in on the chicks, noticing how they grow stronger, fluffier, and more active each day. Through caring for them, the children also developed a sense of responsibility, empathy, and connection with living things.

Of course, we couldn’t forget to give our chicks some very special names 💛

Now, our little chicks have returned to the farm where they will continue to grow—and while we won’t be able to see them again, we will always remember this precious experience of witnessing their life cycle from egg to chick.

We are so proud of how gentle, curious, and caring the children have been throughout this experience. What a beautiful way to explore nature and learning together 🌱

🌈 Holi Celebration at Play Park! 🎉

Today, we celebrated Holi – the Festival of Colours at Play Park!
The children had so much fun exploring bright colours, laughing together, and enjoying this joyful cultural experience.

Holi is a beautiful celebration that brings people together and reminds us of the happiness that comes from sharing moments with friends. Seeing the children’s smiles, colourful hands, and endless giggles made the day extra special!

Thank you to our families for sending spare clothes and supporting this fun (and very colourful!) experience. 💛

Behind every safe environment is a prepared team 💛

Our educators recently completed our annual First Aid and CPR training on site. Regular refresher training helps us remain confident, calm, and responsive when it matters most.

Because children’s safety is never a one-time conversation — it’s an ongoing commitment.

Happy Lunar New Year!

At Play Park, we celebrated Lunar New Year with our children and families 🧧✨

Throughout the celebration, we explored different cultural traditions of Lunar New Year. The children enjoyed making dumplings alongside our Chinese educators and were fascinated learning about Chinese characters.

We also shared delicious rice cakes with families and children, creating beautiful moments of connection, culture, and community ❤️

It was another special day at Play Park. We hope all our families had a wonderful Lunar New Year filled with joy and meaningful time together 🏮

Last week, we celebrated Valentine’s Day, a beautiful day all about love, kindness, and caring for one another 💕

Our children and families enjoyed a special afternoon tea filled with special treats, heartfelt moments, and creativity. The children lovingly wrote cards for their valentines and decorated their own cupcakes to share with someone special 🧁💌

✨ Play Park’s Special End of Year Celebrations ✨

The past few weeks at Play Park have been filled with so many meaningful moments to celebrate together 💫

We proudly celebrated Play Park’s 3rd birthday with our children, families, and educators — three wonderful years of learning, growing, and building strong relationships together

We also held a very special graduation celebration for our children who will be heading off to school next year 🎓✨ We are so proud of each and every one of our graduates and all that they have achieved.

A heartfelt thank you to our graduates’ families for preparing a beautiful special morning tea for the whole team — your love and support mean so much to us 💛

And of course, our Play Park staff Christmas party was another highlight of the season. A chance to celebrate the dedication, passion, and teamwork of our amazing educators.

So many special celebrations remind us just how strong and special our Play Park community truly is!

🚒 Firefighters Visit from Beecroft Fire Station! 🔥

Today, we had very special guests — the amazing firefighters from Beecroft Fire Station! 👩‍🚒👨‍🚒
They taught us about fire safety and evacuation procedures, and we even listened to the fire alarm sound to learn what to do when we hear it in real life.

The highlight of the day was trying out the fire truck’s water hose!
Children took turns pulling and pushing the lever — just like real firefighters!

A big thank you to our local heroes for visiting us and helping us learn how to stay safe! ❤️

🍎 Healthy Eating at Play Park 🍇
Healthy eating is an essential part of our everyday life!
Providing children with nutritious food plays a big role in their growth and development.

At Play Park, we encourage children to explore various textures and flavours through our multicultural menu designed for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

We also weave healthy eating into our daily program — helping children build early knowledge about food, nutrition, and energy for play!

Because we believe that a healthy body supports a happy, playful mind ready to learn and explore! 💚

🌿 Welcoming New Families 🐛✨
We’re so happy to welcome a new silkworm family to Play Park! 💛 Recently, one of our families kindly donated silkworms, sparking so much excitement and curiosity among the children.

Together, we’ve been observing how the silkworms eat mulberry leaves, move gently, and spin their silky cocoons — discovering nature’s amazing life cycle right before our eyes!

It’s been a beautiful shared experience of wonder, patience, and care, reminding us how learning grows stronger when we connect as a community.

Last week, we celebrated National Child Protection Week with our little people at Play Park!

Every child has the right to feel safe, valued, and respected. Together, we supported our children in creating their own safe environment — because safety starts with them.

“It is never too early to begin important conversations about consent and body safety!”

By listening, respecting, and empowering children, we help them build the confidence to use their voice and know their rights.

At Play Park Early Learning Centre, we celebrated with a special Father’s Day Mini Golf Night! ⛳️
Dads had a blast playing a round of golf, enjoying delicious food prepared by our wonderful chef Rita, and sharing laughs and great conversations with each other.

🎉 Congratulations to Sam, Lachlan, and James for taking out 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the mini golf challenge!

Last night, while putting up displays and surprises, I felt so grateful for a team that’s always ready to go above and beyond. They truly are the best! 💪❤️
