The English component of the selective exam primarily consists of both writing and comprehension passage which on the surface seems like an easy nut to crack but it rigorously attests the student's creativity and originality while it challenges them to use their wits at analytical reasoning at the same time.

Every year thousand of students give the selective exams, in such a scenario it becomes crucial that the student's writing stands out amidst the competitors. The writing should not be vague or general but distinct. In my lessons, I aim to develop the creative acumen of the child while at the same time supplying them with an in-depth knowledge about literary devices which is tested out in the MCQs of the comprehension passages.
