Today is R U OK? Day. This week, our school has been raising awareness through activities that encourage students to connect, support one another, and start important conversations. Students are wearing yellow accessories today as a reminder that a simple question, "Are you OK?", can make a big difference.

Congratulations to Janemarie who was the 2026 Year 12 OLSH Kensington recipient of the Archbishop of Sydney Awards for Student Excellence. The Award is for students who show participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic faith, both at school and in their parish/community. Janemarie was presented with her award by His Grace, Archbishop Anthony Fisher, with her parents, Ms Pussich and Kristin, Faith and Justice Captain, in attendance to witness this special occasion.

Congratulations to our HSC Dance Students, together with their dedicated Dance Teacher, Mrs Joanne Caletti - on receiving an incredible 26 nominations for CALLBACK, the NESA HSC Dance Showcase. This unprecedented achievement is a testament to their talent, commitment and hard work.

Thank you to the team from Backflips Against Bullying for delivering an inspiring presentation to our Years 7 and 8 students. Students were encouraged to be upstanders, not bystanders, by standing up, speaking up, and choosing to be buddies rather than bullies. Together, we're building a culture of kindness, respect, and inclusion.

Students enjoyed bracelet making at recess today as part of our activities for RUOK? Day this week. The activity provided an opportunity for students to check in with friends and start meaningful conversations in a relaxed and creative setting.

The school yard was awash with colour today as students wore jerseys in support of Jersey Day. This is a day where we are encouraged to start conversations about the importance of becoming an organ and tissue donor in order to save lives. Thank you to everyone who participated in this awareness event.
