Children explored and learned about their feelings through meaningful conversations, storytelling, and play-based activities.

They identified different emotions, shared their experiences, and practiced ways to express themselves in a safe and respectful environment. This supports emotional awareness, empathy, and positive relationships.

Building strong emotional foundations for lifelong wellbeing. 💛

Our babies enjoyed a fun and active soccer experience today, exploring movement through kicking, rolling, and chasing the ball.

This simple activity supported their gross motor development, coordination, and confidence, while also encouraging social interaction and joyful play.

A wonderful way for our youngest learners to stay active and engaged. ⚽

Know the Owner and Approve Provider

Taruna Sharma is the Approved Provider and Owner of Kidopia, bringing with her a diverse professional background, strong leadership experience, and a deep passion for early childhood education. Originally from India, Taruna migrated to Australia in 2010 with a vision of creating meaningful opportunities for children and families.

Taruna completed her Master’s in Microbiology and is also a qualified HACCP (Food Safety) and Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) Auditor, as well as a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Her journey in early childhood education began in 2006 in India, when she established a daycare centre, Shemrock, following the birth of her beautiful daughter. Becoming a mother inspired her commitment to creating nurturing environments where children feel safe, valued, and supported.

Wanting to one day create a childcare service where every child feels safe, respected, loved, and genuinely cared for, she made the difficult decision to step away from the sector temporarily and pursue further professional development.

Taruna went on to study Project Management Professional (PMP) and Finance Management, while building over 10 years of experience working in Transport NSW. Despite her success in other fields, her passion for early childhood education never faded. Driven by her dream and commitment to children and families, she later completed her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and founded Kidopia with love, dedication, and purpose.

As a mother of two, Taruna understands the trust families place in educators and believes every child deserves a warm, inclusive, and secure environment where they can thrive. Her vision for Kidopia is centred on creating a supportive community where children feel happy and confident, families feel respected and heard, and educators feel valued and empowered.

📮Special delivery from our little learners! 📮

Our curious explorers set off on an exciting adventure to the post office! With big smiles and even bigger curiosity, they met the friendly postman and discovered the journey of a letter—from their hands to someone’s heart. 💌

Tiny hands carefully chose stamps, concentrated as they pressed them onto their letters, and with great pride, dropped them into the post box—sending their very own messages out into the world! 🌍

Moments like these turn everyday experiences into magical learning opportunities, building confidence, independence, and real-world understanding.

A big thank you to Mount Colah Post Office for welcoming our children and making this experience so special and memorable. ❤️

Children engaged in imaginative pretend play by creating their own house using loose parts and cardboard boxes.

They designed, built, and decorated their space, exploring creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork along the way. This hands-on experience supported communication skills, spatial awareness, and a strong sense of belonging as children worked together to bring their ideas to life.

A wonderful example of how simple materials can inspire rich and meaningful learning. 🏠✨

Learning about road safety is an important part of helping children stay safe and aware in their everyday environment.

Through engaging activities and discussions, children explored key concepts such as recognising traffic lights, using pedestrian crossings, and understanding the importance of holding an adult’s hand near roads.

These experiences build awareness, responsibility, and confidence, empowering children with essential life skills to keep themselves and others safe. 🚦

Community Support Appeal 💗

Our Kidopia community is coming together to support a dedicated early childhood educator who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

She is in the midst of chemotherapy and is scheduled for major surgery on 11 May, followed by further treatment including radiation and hormone therapy. This is a challenging time, both physically and emotionally, and we would like to surround her with care and support.

We invite our families and community to contribute in any way they can:
• Donations can be made via the QR code shared
• Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers
• Sharing this message helps extend support even further

Every act of kindness, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.

Thank you for standing together as a caring and compassionate community 💕

Children enjoyed exploring the world of the post office through hands-on learning experiences. They engaged in role play by writing letters, sorting mail, and delivering “packages” to their friends.

This activity supported early literacy, communication skills, and an understanding of community roles. It also encouraged teamwork, creativity, and meaningful conversations about how we stay connected with others.

A fun and engaging way to learn about the world around us. 📮
