What has been coming into view is now revealed. ✨
As a part of the Sydney Catholic Schools community, we are all united by a shared mission to provide Catholic education deeply anchored in faith, marked by educational excellence and accessible to all who seek it.
Inspired by the beauty and symmetry of the rose window of St Mary’s Cathedral, the new Sydney Catholic Schools logo shifts the focus from Sydney’s iconic landmarks to the spiritual heart of the Archdiocese which connects us.
It lives in our students, our staff and our families across Greater Sydney and is reflected in the way we learn and walk together.
With Christ at the centre of all that we do, this renewed expression reflects who we are as a community of communities, based in our traditions but looking boldly to the future.

On 25th July, Year 1 led our Parish in a celebration of our founder Mary Aikenhead and the Sisters of Charity. Families then joined together for supper and an evening of smiles, chatter and laughter.
Tonight our Year 4 students and families will lead our St Ambrose Parish in a Mass for the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We hope you can join us in prayer and worship.

Last week our Toddlers celebrated National Primary Education Week through the song ‘Wheels on the Bus’. It was an extremely busy morning; we cut, glued, identified shapes, sang and acted. We explored different ways of getting to school, especially travelling by bus, and encouraged everyone to visit the Sydney Bus Museum to see how buses have evolved.
Join us for prayer, stories and craft each Wednesday at 9am.

Today our Kindergarten children were joined by Paul from Surf Life Saving NSW.
The children learnt about beach, water and coastal safety, which even included some dress up fun and some pretend rescues!
It was a great afternoon with many children sharing their prior knowledge and understanding of water safety.
A great initiative to support our upcoming swimming program next week.

Today we celebrated National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day.
Our Aboriginal students proudly led us in prayer, and classes took part in activities to learn about the significance of the day. Our Aboriginal students also enjoyed making bracelets, choosing words that represent what their culture means to them.
A wonderful day of learning, reflection, and celebrating culture ♥️💛🖤

In Year 5, students took their learning beyond the classroom as they investigated perimeter by exploring the 1 km² area surrounding our school using digital maps.
Students identified key landmarks and local features, measured distances, and calculated the perimeter while developing their spatial awareness and real world mathematical problem solving skills
