FULL MOON in Cancer today (18 Jan 2022, 10:48am AEST)

In it's home sign of Cancer, this full moon is a powerful and special one that asks us to tap into our intuition and nurture ourselves.

Mercury is about to go retrograde (14 Jan 2022).

Mercury the Roman god, was known the messenger of the gods as well as the trickster. His Greek equivalent is Hermes.

As a planet, Mercury influences communication (speaking, listening, writing), technology, transportation, and contracts.

So, here is what is likely to happen during a Mercury retrograde:

• Confusion, miscommunication, misunderstandings, and frustration
• Technology (computers, phones, electronics) and cars may malfunction or just stop working – sometimes for no apparent reason.
• People forget things (or misplace them).
• Travel, projects and plans get delayed.
• Negotiations (buying, selling, contracts) will stall or be delayed.

So here are my top 5 tips to do now BEFORE Mercury goes retrograde (14 Jan):

√ Back up your data including your passwords!
√ If you are travelling, plan to leave early. Delays are likely so have a backup plan.
√ Avoid starting anything new – if you do, its highly likely that something was missed, or it won’t go according to plan.
√ Avoid signing any contracts or making financial decisions (Venus is also retrograde until 29 January and she rules over money matters!)
√ Take time to review, revisit, reconsider aspects of your life or work. This is a good time to attend to things that need to be reviewed or reworked.

A great time to set your intentions and plan your goals for 2022. Here's a guide...
1. Outline what your goal, intention or focus is for 2022.
2. Now, rewrite it as if it’s already happened and it's 22 December 2022.
3. Write a congratulatory letter to yourself for what you have achieved with this 2022 goal, intention and focus. Make it compelling.
4. Seal the letter and give it to a friend for safe keeping until the 22 December 2022. Alternatively, use the Future Self site (link in comments) to send your future self that letter.
