Every banana peel, coffee ground and garden clipping placed in your green-lidded Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO) bin helps to create high-quality compost used on local parks, gardens and sporting fields.

To celebrate International Compost Awareness week, Penrith City Council is hosting a Free Compost giveaway for our residents🌱

Limited bags of compost available – tickets are essential.

📍 Where: Kingsway Playing Fields, Werrington

Written by educators, inspired by the voices and stories of our Little Adventurers children, "Murphy’s Way" celebrates the playful spirit of our class pet rabbit, Murphy! From munching on strawberries to chasing the vacuum, this catchy song captures the everyday moments that bring joy, connection, and learning to our early childhood service.

By involving children directly in creating this song, we foster their sense of belonging and voice — a core principle of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard (NQS) Quality Area 1: Educational program and practice.
