Our Year 7 Science students recently visited the zoo to deepen their understanding of biological classification. 👨‍🔬🔎 Through observing animals 🏞️ from across the animal kingdom, students explored how living things are grouped according to their characteristics and evolutionary relationships. 🐾🐿️The excursion provided valuable real-world connections to classroom learning and inspired plenty of scientific curiosity along the way.

Yesterday the College had two teams representing at the Term 3 Sydney Championships day. Congratulations to the Junior AFL side, who have been so dominant all season, capping off an unbeaten season winning their Sydney Semi Final and Grand Final. 🎊 The boys were comprehensive winners on the day, as they have been all season, winning the Semi Final19.9(123) - 0.0(0), and then going on to win the Sydney Championship Grand Final 10.8(68) - 0.4(4). 🏉🏈

The Junior All Abilities Football side finished runners up after a nail biting penalty shootout in the Sydney Semi Final. Then came up against a strong Bankstown side going down by a single goal.

Today, our Marcellin College community comes together to honour our graduating Year 12 cohort.

As they celebrate their final Mass and Graduation Ceremony, we look back on their journey with immense pride. Today marks both a meaningful farewell and an exciting new beginning as our young men step forward into the world as true Marist leaders.
