TRIGGER WARNING
Tonight across Australia our Kangatrainers are lighting candles for a beautiful little joey and her devastated family.
Tragically little Evie, aged 14 months, went to bed and never woke up. π₯ Evie was a much loved joey of the Kangatraining Toowoomba family.
Evie, you and those who love you are all in our thoughts and hearts. β€

Day 5
This is a photo of my business partner and I. From being worn at the front, to being worn at the back, to dancing beside me with her own doll in her own carrier. It was so sad the day when I had to rock up to a Kangatraining class wearing a plastic demo doll because my business partner had started preschool π
It is so beautiful to be able to work and bond with your child at the same time, to have achieved something together. I will always treasure those memories π

Day 4
One big part of Kangatraining is the community that is created. I have loved seeing mums form friendships from Kanga. As much as I love the Kangatraining class itself, what I love more were the times we hung out at lunch in the local cafes after class π₯°

There are so many things I love about being a Kangatrainer. I love seeing mums empowering other mums to feel strong. I am not merely talking about physical strength, but the inner strength in mothers. That strength which is so often hiding behind the tiredness, the mundane and the frustrations. The strength that can so easily be squashed in face of judgement but can be so beautiful when it is allowed to shine

This photo was also taken from the Kangatraining Instructors Course in 2017. It was so great to meet some fellow mums and up coming Kangatrainers at the course. Here is one with Mel from Kangatraining Cronulla & Surrounds :) This photo is also evidence that I did do the course and most of the workouts with my child on my my back π

This photo was taken at the Kangatraining Instructors Course back in 2017. I cant believe that was over 3 years ago! I still remember how anxious I felt embarking on this completely new journey as a Kangatrainer and not knowing whether I was going to get any one in my classes when I start them π

It is with a heavy heart we share that one of our Kanga Mums lost her firefighter husband on Thursday night in the devastating accident.
Tonight, across the country, we are lighting candles to show our support to this Kanga Mum, her family, our Kangatrainer, her Kanga community and to everyone in Australia currently affected by these devastating fires. To the men and women fighting these fires, you are beyond brave and we are so thankful for what you are doing to keep our land, our animals and our people safe.
Dearest Kanga Mum, if you see this, please know we are all thinking of you and your family. Our hearts are breaking. We cannot imagine what you are going through right now. We're sending you love and light. β€π―

At 7pm on October 15th we recognise Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day by lighting a candle, creating a Wave of Light around the world.
For those we carried but never held,
Those we held but could not take home
Those who came home, We remember the babies born sleeping
Those we carried but never held
