🌼How to raise awareness & manage emotions with the little ones🌼
A while ago in our workshop we did some exercise of yoga and sensory experience. During these activities we labeled our emotions, we felt them during yoga and then we play a game with a magic bottle to release them.
Also we use colours as an emotion. We asked ourselves what colours made us feel that emotion, so each child picked a colour that identify what he/she was feeling.

Creative Yogis Workshop 🌈🙌🏻💜
Feeling thrilled about our last workshop in North Bondi .
The theme our workshop was emotions. We combined activities such as yoga and creativity for children’s to experience sensory activities. We encouraged children’s to feel their emotions and body through games, movement, dance and express themselves through out art and movement. In this way we learned how navigate each of the emotions.
Stay tune for our coming workshop during school holidays 🌈🧡🌸😊🦁

HOW TO BUILD A CHILD'S SELF-CONFIDENCE
Self-confidence develops when a child feels safe, loved, and accepted. When children are encouraged to try new things, and learn things on their own, they realize that they have the ability to do so.
As their self-confidence grows, you gain a sense of pride and purpose, helping them learn from their mistakes. Motivating them to try again instead of getting discouraged and giving up.
When a child has confidence in himself, it helps him improve at school, at home, and interacting with other children. So when he feels supported, loved, understood and respected as he grows, his self-esteem grows with him.

Exploring day at the beach ✨
Today we went to the beach, we climbed to the rocks, where the waves were crashing loud. It was a beautiful morning with the little ones, we were collecting shells, exploring texture, finding sea creature and their houses.
After we create some art pieces with the shells that we collected.
Later on at home we did some collage with the shells and we paint them.
What a fun day!

K R I E T I V - raising creative minds .
Hugging a tree increases levels of hormone oxytocin. This hormone is responsible for feeling calm and emotional bonding. When hugging a tree, the hormones serotonin and dopamine make you feel happier. It is important to use this “free” space of a forest we were given by nature to holistically heal ourselves

• Teach kids about the Two sides of the brain •
Understanding our brain functioning it is the first stage on how to help your children integrated the right and left side of their brain and raise whole-brain kids. Our brain has downstairs and upstairs part. The downstairs brain includes the stem brain and limb region, it’s the primitive brain responsible for basic function, breathing and blinking and strong emotions( fear and anger)
The upstairs brain it’s made up by cerebral cortex and various parts, behind your forehead, includes the middle and frontal cortex. This part of the brain is where process like thinking, planning, imagination takes place. This upstairs brain is not fully developed in children until their 20’, these parts are responsible for producing characteristics like :
• sound decision-making planning
• control over emotions and body
• self-understanding
•Empathy
•Morality
When a fully functioning staircase is in place, the upper and lower parts of the brain are vertically integrated. That means the upstairs can monitor the actions of the downstairs and help calm strong reactions like impulses and emotions like fear and anger.

🎨 Creative session #4 🎨
Today’s class we made a toy camara made out of recycling materials that we were collecting from our daily waste.
Through this kind of activities we foster children imagination and consciousness of being able to create something really cool and with their own hands from recycling waste. We encourage little ones to care about the environment and produce less garbage that goes into the landfills. In this way we inspire them to turn something that has a negative impact into a functionally, fun and creative toy to play. .
