Had an awesome 1 on 1 mixing session with Chris the ‘Bee Keeper’ from Newcastle yesterday at Store DJ’s Mixing room in Sydney. He wanted to mix on the Pioneer CDJ 3000 players so we hooked it up to his Serato DVS system and laptop to mix from. We also played some vinyl mixes as an additional part of the session and chatted a lot about different ways to DJ. It was so much fun playing on all the different formats that we even ran a little bit overtime!

Afterwards we also did a quick store tour to look at other options like controllers and all in one digital setups and as an added bonus, Chris gave me a jar of his freshly brewed honey direct from his bee hive business Ribbons Honey (Thanks mate!) 🎧🐝 🎧

When I read this I was sure it wasn’t real but a quick Google search confirmed that it was (if you believe everything you Google). This was the largest vinyl record ever produced and actually spun on a giant turntable!

I’m very excited to announce I will now be teaching 1 on 1 private DJ tuition coaching sessions as part of my Vinyl Mixing DJ Academy. This a great opportunity for someone that really wants to learn or develop their DJ skills.

You’ll receive focused and dedicated instruction from me the whole time, showing you the ways of the turntables and it’s also the fastest way to learn how to play on vinyl turntables.

These sessions will be taught exclusively at Store DJ, Sydney in one of their two purpose-built DJ mixing rooms featuring the very latest DJ equipment and are open to everyone from beginner to intermediate or for anyone wanting to master different Vinyl Mixing skills such as creating mashups, sampling, mixing in key and many other techniques.

Learn to mix and play your way with all music genres and all age groups* welcome!

You choose the music style that suits what you want to play.

So whether you want to start from scratch and learn to DJ on Vinyl Turntables, brush up on your mixing skills or even transition from CDJ/Controller to learn to play and mix with Vinyl Records, these sessions can be tailored and designed to suit what you want to gain from your time with me in the Mixing Room.

Session times are flexible and range anywhere from 60, 90 and up to 120 minutes and can be scheduled as often as you require them.
