A huge congratulations to Luca on completing his first solo flight today! ✈️

Luca has been training with Clarissa and took to the skies solo after flying with instructor Brian today. A fantastic achievement and a milestone you’ll never forget.

That’s now 3 out of 3 first solos recently for our students, an incredible effort from everyone involved. Well done, Luca! 👏

✈️ Congratulations to Matt Cole on passing his Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) Flight Test!

A fantastic achievement after all the hard work and dedication Matt has put into his training. A big thank you to examiner Rakend for conducting the flight test, and to instructor Kate for guiding Matt every step of the way.

The journey doesn’t stop here—next up is the Private Pilot Licence (PPL)! We can’t wait to see what you’ll accomplish next.

Wheels up, instructor out. ✈️

Today marked a major milestone in Bodie’s aviation journey, his very first solo flight.

After months of training, learning, and guidance from instructor Josh, it was time to take the controls alone and put all that hard work into practice. From pre-flight nerves to the excitement of touchdown, this is one of those moments every pilot remembers forever.

Congratulations, Bodie on your first solo! An incredible achievement and just the beginning of many more adventures in the sky.

Congratulations to Dresden who passed his Multi-Engine Class Rating with us recently at Sydney Flight Training🙌🏼

After completing his CPL earlier this year, Dresden moved straight into his multi-engine training with Instructor Kayla in the Seminole. Following a solid training block, Dresden successfully completed his flight test with examiner Mark Kelly and added another qualification to his licence.

Well done Dresden, and we wish you all the best for the next stage of your aviation journey✈️

Congratulations to Olivia Devine for conducting her first solo this morning! ✈️

Olivia has come from the UK to conduct her flight training in Australia and has been flying with instructor Clarissa a couple times a week.
Olivia and Kate took to the skies this morning for a few dual circuits before Kate stepped out to let Olivia set off by herself!

We’re excited to see Olivia progress throughout the rest of her RPL syllabus and wish her well!

Congratulations to Gordon who obtained his RPL last month!

Gordon had been flying with Instructor Aaron but took a break to focus on his University studies, it was great to see him back and pursuing his flight training for his RPL.

We wish Gordon all the best in his future aviation endeavours✈️

Incredible stuff from our resident Doctor turned pilot Abbey Tan for passing her Private Instrument Rating (PIFR) with us earlier this month!

After obtaining her medical degree and PPL late last year, Abbey was not done learning and set her sights on a new goal - obtaining her Instrument rating. She passed IREX with flying colours after 2 weeks of hard study, and started training in the simulator shortly after with Kayla. After many hours in the sim they progressed to the aircraft and practiced RNP approaches at various airports in regional NSW.

Abbey flew with examiner Mark for her flight test and did a sound job. We wish her blue skies and tailwinds moving forward✈️
