Trying to journal with Billy - do you mind?!? Lol

Journaling is such a powerful exercise to connect with yourself, your guides, angels and spirits who surround you always and are ready to help you every step of the way.

It’s often best to do it when you wake up as your mind hasn’t engaged. I do it after I’ve meditated, it has a similar effect.

Try it for a couple of minutes daily and see what happens for you. Let me know how you go.

To resuscitate or not was the question I was faced with this morning!

I took my beautiful girl Snowy into the vets this morning to be desexed.

It was all fine until I was confronted with paperwork and a decision on whether to resuscitate in need at a cost of $1,000 or to not resuscitate.

I was a bit like a deer in headlights and went into my mind first. Of course I wanted them to resuscitate her and NO I didn’t want to pay $1k!

Then I got into my body, took a few deep breaths and asked myself did I want to resuscitate her. I heard no. I was surprised. I asked again and again and got no.

I was brave enough to tick no even though I didn’t understand why.

I just had a call from the vets to say her op went well and she’s recovering well.

Thank you angels and guides, don’t you know it!!! Much love ❤️

Are you making the most of every moment?

I remember being in a long term relationship when I was younger. It wasn't going well in the latter years of it. I remember thinking "but, we've been together for so long" as if saying no to a toxic relationship, that wasn't working or in any way good for my heath would be a waste!

Then I thought, how many more years of my life do I have? Do I want to be miserable or happy?!? It was a no brainer, get out of that relationship STAT!

I'll acknowledge it's not always easy, it may take a bit of planning, like I did and friendship support. I made the choice for what I wanted in my life and I made it happen.

Life is too short to be miserable. It is not a dress rehearsal. Our time is now and we all deserve to be unapologetically HAPPY whatever that looks like for each of us!!!

How much does time rule your life?

If you have children, often they ask, what's the time? You might ask yourself, do we have time for that? I need to be somewhere at X time or I've only got so much time right now.

Time can be really pressurising and stressful when we tune into it and feel like we are time poor. Of course, our society runs on clock time, work time and appointment time etc.

When was the last time (ha ha) you were so involved in an activity that you lost the sense of time? Maybe it was only a couple of minutes but you were so into it that it felt like heaps longer. Or perhaps it was vice versa.

The point is that when we are in a mindful place, focussed on one thing, it expands time. We can also use positive affirmations to extend time in the day to get achieve everything we need to. For example, I have more than enough time in the day to achieve everything I really need to with ease and flow.

Also, what may seem counterintuitive at first, taking the time to meditate, even a few minutes a day, balances our sense of time and our ability to manage the day more peacefully.

Be honest, how loving are you to yourself and others you are close to in your life?

Love is an energy that underpins everything. When we operate from heart-centred love, life really becomes beautiful. Stress can't survive in that place.

The energy we give out, we receive back. If we love ourselves, we think more positively, have more positive self talk, behave in a more positive way towards others which cycles back to us from our interactions with other people.

It starts with us first, with our internal work. Part of that is keeping our cup full on a daily basis so can feel well, resilient and tap into that love.

Are you pursuing or living a life of happiness?

Pursuing means chasing or following. When you are chasing or following a life of happiness it means you're following someone else's ideals of what happiness looks like.

The real question to ask is: What is happiness to you?

If you're finding it trickier to define then think about a time in your life when you were really happy. What were you doing? Where were you? Who was with you? What did you feel? Describe all the elements of that moment.

Then either live YOUR happiness or embody the elements that made you happy in the past that still connect with you now for true happiness.
