🌏🧡 Harmony Week at the Centre 🧡🌏
Next week we will be celebrating Harmony Week at the centre, a time to recognise and celebrate the many cultures, languages and backgrounds that make up our wonderful community. The children will be engaging in experiences that promote inclusion, respect and belonging, while learning about the importance of celebrating what makes each of us unique.

Our children have been exploring and learning about different traditions from the cultures of our centre community, sharing stories, food, music, and songs together.

We’re especially excited to celebrate the Lantern Festival and Holi — two beautiful festivals that bring light, joy, colour, and togetherness. 🏮🎨

🌊☀️ Water Safety Fun with Our Surf Lifesavers! ☀️🌊

Today our children enjoyed a very special visit from the amazing team at Surf Life Saving Australia!

The incursion was packed with learning and hands-on fun. We shared the story of Annie and the Waves, sparking great conversations about staying safe at the beach. The children explored:

🏖️ Beach safety and essential water safety tips
🐠 Marine life and ocean creatures
🚩 How surf lifesavers help keep our beaches safe

The highlight of the day was engaging in exciting beach rescue scenarios and dressing up in lifeguard uniforms – our future lifesavers in the making!

We are so proud of how enthusiastically the children participated and the important knowledge they gained about staying safe around water. A big thank you to our wonderful visitors for such an educational and memorable experience! 💛🌊

Happy Lunar New Year! 🧨🐉
Today we celebrated Lunar New Year with lots of excitement and meaningful learning! The children enjoyed hands-on cooking experiences, art and craft, participated in their own dragon dance, and listened to stories that shared the traditions and legends behind this special celebration.
They also learned about how it is celebrated in different countries around the world, sparking curiosity, cultural awareness, and plenty of great conversations.
It was a fun day filled with learning, laughter, and celebration as we welcomed the New Year together!
