Our team at Guardian Hornsby got into the Book Week spirit by dressing up as characters from some of our children’s favourite books!
It was a fantastic day filled with creativity, imagination and plenty of smiles. We like bringing children’s favourite stories to life and celebrating the joy of reading together!

During Book Week, our Nursery children celebrated the joy of reading while exploring a variety of textures and developing their sensory awareness. Through stories, songs and hands-on experiences, the children extended their curiosity, imagination and early communication skills, creating meaningful connections between books and their everyday learning.

Pyjama Day is Coming!

We're excited to be taking part in Pyjama Day to support children in foster care through The Pyjama Foundation.

On Pyjama Day, we invite all children (and educators too!) to come to daycare wearing their favourite pyjamas. It's a fun way to spend the day while helping make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who need extra support.

If you would like to support this wonderful cause, we kindly ask families to bring along a gold coin donation. Every donation helps The Pyjama Foundation provide learning, life skills and confidence-building opportunities for children in foster care.

So, pop on your comfiest PJs and join us for a day of fun!

Thank you for helping us support this important cause. We can't wait to see everyone's cosy pyjamas!

🖤💛❤️ Celebrating NAIDOC Week ❤️💛🖤

This week, we're proud to celebrate NAIDOC Week by recognising and celebrating the histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year's theme, "50 Years of Deadly," honours five decades of celebrating the strength, resilience and contributions of First Nations peoples.

Throughout the week, our children will explore First Nations cultures through storytelling, songs, cooking experiences and a range of meaningful learning activities that encourage curiosity, respect and connection.

We look forward to sharing these special experiences with you throughout the week.

Sandpit Photos This Wednesday & Thursday! 📸

Just a friendly reminder that Sandpit Photos will be at the centre this Wednesday and Thursday for our annual centre photo days.

📷 Group Photo Times
👶 Nursery – 9:00am
🚸 Toddlers – 10:00am
🎨 Preschool – 10:30am

Individual photos will be taken in between the group photo sessions.

If your child does not usually attend on Wednesday or Thursday, you are more than welcome to bring them in for their photo. We kindly ask that a parent or guardian remains at the centre while your child is being photographed.

We can't wait to capture these special memories with all of our wonderful children! 💙
