Sadly, we have another Police Officer in need of assistance. The hardworking and dedicated Senior Constable Marc Brown, of the Liverpool Highway Patrol, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He is now set to begin immunotherapy - a treatment that offers hope, but which comes with significant financial burdens. His colleagues have set up a page to assist him. **Coach Bun's last BJJ (6:30pm) & Striking (7:30pm) class will be next Wednesday (Feb 26).

Due to recent personal commitments, Coach Bun is unable to continue with his regular classes.

Coach Bun has been a friend and asset to the studio since he came on board with DEFTAC Studios in June 2022. Time sure does fly!

Coach Bun's infectious friendly personality while he's inflicting pain on you lol and great detail to breaking down technical BJJ skills has been a joy to all he has taught in expanding the defensive tactics toolbox of our DEFTAC Krav Maga students!

We are working with Bun to organise future workshops at the studio to utilise BJJ technical skills in the clinch and ground to enhance the Krav Maga skills in real world scenarios. So watch this space for future announcements!

Here's your chance for our adult and teen Krav students to train with Coach Bun one last time.

**Upcoming Knife Defence Workshop!**

$50 (current students), $60 (public).

The workshop will cover practical real world defensive tactics against various knife attacks:
- Slashing attacks
- Ice pick attacks (blade down)
- Sewing machine attacks (blade up)

Open to current students and the public.
We welcome all fitness levels and all martial arts experience (from none, to beginner to advance).

One of the many practical skills taught regularly at DEFTAC Studios to our adult and teen Krav classes.

Wednesday classes with Coach Bun:
- BJJ: 6:30pm - 7:30pm

**New Announcements**

- Teen Krav now has an extra class added (3 classes every week). Any current Teen Krav students wanting to add extra Teen Krav classes, please speak to the Instructor running the class for cost.

- Any current Teen Krav students wanting to add Wednesday classes with Coach Bun (BJJ and/or Striking) to their current Teen Krav package please speak to the Instructor running the class for cost.

Coach Bun is teaching our combined Teen - Adult classes: Mon (Jan 13) & Thur (Jan 16), 7:30-8:30pm

Coach Bun is a very experienced BJJ coach and a Brown Belt under Prof Elvis Sinosic of Kings MMA.

Coach Bun has been teaching our Wednesday BJJ and Striking classes every Wednesday since 2022. Our Deftac BJJ & Striking classes on Wednesday will resume on February 5.

This is an excellent opportunity to touch upon some new skills (especially for our Teen Krav students) in BJJ and MMA style striking to add to your Krav Maga defensive toolbox.
