We thank the Consulate General of Greece, Sydney for the support and looking forward to welcoming everyone!

The exhibition “Ode to Freedom” by distinguished Greek-Australian artist Angela Kiki Konstantinopoulou will take place from 5 to 28 May 2026 at the Parliament House of New South Wales, presented by Ahepansw under the auspices of the Consulate General of 🇬🇷 Greece in Sydney.

Marking the bicentenary of the Exodus of Mesolonghi (1826) —a defining and heroic moment of the Greek War of Independence —the exhibition presents a powerful series of paintings that bring to life key figures and moments of the struggle for freedom, set within the historical legacy of Mesolonghi. Through expressive works, including depictions of Lord Byron and other Philhellenes, the artist explores themes of sacrifice, resilience, and democracy, while also reflecting on the historical journey of Hellenism and its enduring presence in Australia.

✨ We warmly invite you to visit and experience this tribute to the spirit of Mesolonghi and the shared values between 🇬🇷 Greece and 🇦🇺 Australia.
