CrossConnect

Yesterday we had the joy of visiting Lithgow Bible Church. Our students were invited to participate in the service and they shared their testimony, a CrossConnect spotlight and a thought for communion respectively. Once the service concluded we spent time connecting with the church members over a lovely lunch. Thank you to Lithgow Bible Church for hosting us.

This week the students have begun studying the topic of 'The life of a disciple'. This subject equips students to discover fresh insights about themselves and how the Lord has uniquely gifted them. They will also learn to develop spiritual disciplines that will help them grow as disciples of Christ.

I came to GLO CrossConnect to learn things that will help me live as a Christian, and for an international experience. I think the course will make me more proactive and disciplined. I know that after the course, God wants me to continue studying the Bible and sharing the gospel.

Fun fact: When I first applied to come to GLO I used the name Jade, until I realized this is usually a female name in English. I then switched to William.

"I was so excited to come to learn about the word of God and to connect with people. I want to be a blessing to Australia. After the course it is my duty to share what I learnt and to make an intentional relationship with people and guide them to Christ.
The course will help me to live like a disciple and equip me in all areas to disciple others. I want to Thank the GLO family for giving me this opportunity. This journey will be a testimony and it will inspire people in many ways."

A FUN FACT: I'm really shy when I first meet people, so I often stay quiet unless I'm required to speak.

We are back for a brand new term at CrossConnect.
To kick off term 2 the students are diving into two new subjects - Teaching & Preaching and Children's Ministry.
