It’s normal to not feel like practicing. Feelings change all the time. One moment you’re excited, the next you’re tired, later you don’t feel like doing anything. That’s human. But here’s the truth. If you wait until you feel like it, you won’t practice enough to reach your goals. Motivation from the start isn’t reliable. It’s short-term, and it comes and goes based on mood, energy, or what’s happening around you. Science shows that motivation often comes after you start, not before. Action creates momentum. Small wins release dopamine, which makes you want to keep going. Habits are stronger than moods. When you build a routine, you don’t have to argue with your feelings every time.
