NCAT Technology NCAT Technology runs out of Northern College of the Arts & Technology and hosts the premier Trade Tr

Through our purpose built, 17 million dollar facilities NCAT Technology provides industry standard training to Year 10 students via a technologies stream, and 11 and 12 students seeking to integrate VET technology certificates within VCE or VCAL qualifications. With a strong focus on sustainable energies, Northern College of the Arts and Technology has been designated a ‘Leading School’ by the Vic

torian Department of Education for innovation and leadership in technologies. Real connections with industry and TAFE open pathways for students seeking entry into apprenticeships, traineeships or further education. NCAT Technology - (Formerly known as Ntec) - runs VET certificate courses in Engineering, Building & Construction, Automotive, Electro-technology, Furnishing, Manufacturing Technology and Horticulture (Landscaping) to Year 10, 11 and 12 students in both VCE and VCAL. Students can also do full-time Pre-apprenticeship Programs in Building & Construction, Engineering, Electro-technology and Plumbing (Pre-vocational). At NCAT Technology we work with local industry, industry training boards, the Inner Northern Local Learning and Employment Network (INLLEN), schools, unions, TAFEs and Group Training companies to facilitate students' entry into apprenticeships, traineeships and further education, in particular at TAFE institutes, on completion of their courses.

Put your skills and experience to work as a teacher of Vocational Education andTraining (VET) in northern Melbourne secondary schools. You’ll help build the next generation of tradies while enjoying the benefits of moving into a full or part-time career in the classroom.
This is a great initiative. The trainer pictured in the brochure is Craig Anderson who is now teaching Technology at NCAT!
