Hi folks,
Scott Rodell is coming to Australia again. He's the premier USA historical Chinese sword martial arts teacher.
He takes a similar approach to how we do HEMA - he practices forms and drills handed down by his tradition, test cutting, sparring, and reconstruction from historical manuals. When I went to the Canberra workshop last year, I learned a different approach to swordfighting, and enjoyed that his systems are integrated with the armed and unarmed aspects. I think it's a worthwhile and interesting perspective, and so I'd love to have him teach a weekend workshop for us. The drawback for me is that the costs are quite high.
I need to know there's enough interest to go ahead, so I'm offering 10 founders places.
These are 10 heavily discounted places for founder attendees available until the 27th of March 2019 ~ $100 deposit, only $240 per ticket.
If we don't get 10 founders, the event won't go ahead, and any founders will get their deposit returned.
If the event does go ahead, the founders only need to pay the difference ($140) in price, for a total of $240 per ticket. Event tickets as non founders will be around $360 per ticket
The dates, if we are able to go ahead, would be Saturday and Sunday the 17th and 18th of August 2019.
