Our Year 11 & 12 SRCs proudly represented EPIC at the 2026 Islamic Schools SRC Forum hosted by Al-Taqwa College.

The forum provided a valuable opportunity for student leaders from across Islamic schools to collaborate, network, and develop leadership skills through meaningful workshops and discussions. Our students actively contributed throughout the day and demonstrated outstanding leadership, initiative, and teamwork.

We are proud of the way they represented our college and look forward to seeing them continue to make a positive impact within our school community.

We’re pleased to share that earlier this term, we proudly announced our newly appointed Secondary SRC students during a school assembly.
It was wonderful to see their commitment to leadership, service, and representing their peers with integrity and enthusiasm. We look forward to the positive impact they will make across our school community.
We pray for their success in their new roles. Insha’Allah, may this be a rewarding journey for them as young leaders.

Alhamdulillah — Our Little Champions Shone Bright!

On Wednesday, 13th May, EPIC's Primary students took to the track for our Annual Primary Athletics Day — and what a wonderful, joy-filled day it was!

Our students ran, jumped, cheered, and competed with the biggest smiles on their faces. Watching them encourage one another, support their teammates, and give their very best was truly a reminder of the beautiful character our community nurtures in its children.

Events like these are so much more than sport — they are moments where our children learn the values of perseverance, teamwork, and gratitude. And seeing the pride on every little face at the finish line? Priceless. 💛

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers and staff who organised such a fantastic day, and to our parent community for your continued love and support.

May Allah grant our children health, happiness, and every success in this life and the next. Ameen. 🤲

Alhamdulillah — What a day!

On Thursday, 30th April, our Secondary students came together for EPIC's Annual Athletic Day — and it was nothing short of amazing!
The energy, the laughter, the friendly competition, and above all, the spirit of unity that filled every corner of the field — it reminded us all of the beauty of our community coming together as one.

From sprint races to team relays, our students showed incredible strength, sportsmanship, and heart. We are so proud of every single one of them — and grateful to our staff, parent community, and the wider Victorian Islamic school family.
May Allah bless our students with health, strength, and success in all that they do. Ameen.

Everyone is welcome – students, families and the wider community!

⚠️ Important reminder:
Forms will be provided for students to either:
*Pay online via Compass
*Pay prior to using CSEF
*Pay via cash at the front office

The wider community will have an opportunity to purchase their ticket on the day.
As this is an open event, all children must be supervised by their families on the day. Staff will be present to support and ensure everyone’s safety.

Alhamdulillah, on Friday (13th March), our staff at East Preston Islamic College came together for a beautiful Iftar evening.

A moment of unity, reflection, and gratitude during this blessed month of Ramadan. May Allah accept our fasts and strengthen our community.

🌙 Anti-Bullying Awareness & Ramadan Show at EPIC 🌙

Alhamdulillah! East Preston Islamic College recently had the honour of hosting Subi and Amin from One4kids / Zaky for a special Anti-Bullying Program and Ramadan Show for our students.

Through engaging stories, interactive activities and inspiring reminders from the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, our students learned about:

✔️ Understanding what bullying and cyberbullying are
✔️ How to respond with confidence and kindness
✔️ Islamic values of respect, compassion and brotherhood
✔️ Building a positive and supportive school community

Students also enjoyed a fun Islamic animation from The Good Muslim and participated enthusiastically in quizzes and prize giveaways 🎁.

Programs like these play an important role in helping our students grow into confident, respectful and compassionate young Muslims, both inside and outside the classroom.

A special thank you to Subi and Amin for delivering such a meaningful and engaging program.

May Allah ﷻ continue to bless our students with knowledge, character and strong Islamic values.
