π SILVER COIN PROJECT M***I DAY π
Leumeah Public School is proud to support The Silver Coin Project through the upcoming M***i Day on 26 June 2026.
The Silver Coin Project is a local Macarthur charity dedicated to supporting children and families experiencing hardship. They provide essential school items, including uniforms, shoes, backpacks, lunches, toiletries, learning resources and emergency assistance to help students feel confident, included and ready to learn.
Over the years, The Silver Coin Project has been an incredible support to our school community.
Whether it is providing backpacks and uniforms for students in need, assisting families facing unexpected hardship, or helping at short notice following different types of emergencies, their generosity has made a real difference to many of our families.
Every donation made on M***i Day helps The Silver Coin Project continue their important work throughout the Macarthur region, ensuring local children have access to the basic necessities they need to participate fully in school and community life.
We encourage our school community to support this wonderful organisation and learn more about the amazing work they do.
π«Άπ» Thank you for helping to give back to an organisation that continually gives so much to our community.

Celebrating National Public Education Day today, and everyday! β€οΈπ€
Today is National Public Education Day π
A day to celebrate the public schools that shape our communities - the classrooms, the teachers, the canteens, the P&C stalls, and everything in between.
Public primary and high schools are where friendships are formed, potential is unlocked, and futures are built. And behind every great public school is a community that shows up - parents, carers, and citizens who give their time because they believe every child deserves the best possible start.
Here's to our public schools. Here's to the kids in them. And here's to every volunteer who makes them stronger. π Proud to be public!

Some foreign currency stumbled into our Motherβs Day Stall floatβ¦
Unfortunately the bank wouldnβt accept the 2 NZD, 1 Samoan tala, 1 British pound and 5 Indian rupees.
But thankfully UNICEF Australia did!
While we canβt use these funds to support our own students, weβve put them towards the education of children around the world.
