Today, METS stands in solidarity with our fellow Australians and communities as we mourn the lives lost in the heartbreaking Bondi attack.
Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and all who have been impacted by this senseless violence. We also want to recognise the bravery and compassion shown by first responders and community members during this tragic time.
This evening, we invite you to take a moment for reflection:
โข Light a candle on your doorstep or in your front window as a symbol of remembrance and unity
โข Observe a minute of silence at 7:01 PM
Such moments encourage us to think deeply about our role in creating a society that is safe, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone. Through our words, actions, and care for each other, we can help build the communities we aspire to live in, ones rooted in respect, connection, and compassion.
