As part of the Bullying No Way - National Week of Action, Year 7 students took part in a workshop with Steve Gambe, learning how to support one another and stand up as allies. During recess and lunch, students joined in hands-on activities based around being an 'upstanders' in our school community.

As part of National Science Week, the Science Faculty led a week of hands-on experiments and challenges—one experiment each day. Year 11 students tackled a practical activity exploring the concept of surface area to volume ratio, experimenting with different ways of cutting a piece of A4 paper to create the largest shape possible.

This term Ms Carrasco took a group of Year 10 and 11 students to watch the Plain English Speaking Award State Final at the NSW Teachers Federation Conference Centre in Surry Hills.

The finalists gave powerful, engaging prepared and impromptu speeches. Our students listened attentively to the adjudicator’s feedback and reflected on their own recent public speaking presentations.

Congratulations to the overall winner from Terrigal High School.

Our Year 12 Inclusive Education students are diving into the world of 3D animation as part of their Screen and Media TAFE course. They're getting hands-on experience with the Blender software package, mastering lighting, shading, and textures to bring their animated sequences to life. We’re so proud of their creativity and hard work.
