The Yellow Tangs and Hammerheads had a fantastic Buddies session yesterday! π The Yellow Tangs introduced some fun games and everyone had a blast!

Yesterday our Year 6 girls had a special visit from the Strathfield Girls High School Prefects. They had created a presentation about life in High School and answered lots of our questions!

πΌοΈποΈπ¨Students from our Art Club were selected to be part of an Emerging Artist Ceramics and Sculpture Program at Marie Bashir Public School. Today students began working on making tea lanterns with clay. We look forward to the amazing things they will create in this program! π¨ποΈπΌοΈ

π‘ποΈπ¦The 4/3 Pufferfish classroom was transformed into a campsite for a day of hands-on learning and fun during Camp Day!
Desks were turned into cosy tents to create the ultimate camping atmosphere where students enjoyed flashlight reading under the glow of lanterns. Throughout the day, students explored maths by collecting data and graphing their favourite trail mix ingredients, sang campfire songs together, and developed their procedural writing skills by creating detailed instructional texts on how to make the perfect sβmore! ποΈπ¦π‘

β¨ The 6/5 Barracudas have been diving into the exciting world of Space as we develop our informative writing skills this term. Students have been using investigation and research skills to gather fascinating facts about planets, galaxies, astronauts, and other wonders of the universe. They have worked hard to organise their ideas, write clear explanations, and create engaging texts that teach their readers new information β¨

πΆββοΈβοΈ It was sunny skies this morning as National Walk Safely to School Day was once again well supported by our community! Thank you to our amazing P & C, our dedicated teachers and our local Cornerstone Bread & Brew Cafe for hosting a breakfast for students and families. This is a great initiative that promotes road safety awareness, healthy habits and the benefits of walking. πΆββοΈ βοΈ
