🎉 1500 meetings!

A little while ago, we celebrated a pretty special milestone - our club’s 1500th Toastmasters meeting.

It’s a great reminder of the many people, speeches, laughs and conversations that have been part of the club over the years.

Our next meeting is Monday 24 August at 7:15 pm at Gymea Tradies. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.

If you’ve been curious about Toastmasters, come along and see what we get up to. Visitors are always welcome!

On Monday we hosted a Halloween Special Toastmasters! Members were asked to tell a scary story or tall tale and the audience voted as to whether the story was true or false - lots of fun!

Why Public Speaking Skills Matter:

Public speaking skills are vital for both personal and professional success. In your personal life, they enhance your ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, improve your self-esteem, and make social interactions more engaging. Professionally, strong public speaking can set you apart as a leader, open doors to career advancement, and help you persuade and influence others effectively. Mastering public speaking also fosters personal growth by honing your organisational and critical thinking skills. Overall, the ability to speak well in public can lead to greater opportunities, stronger relationships, and a more impactful presence in any setting.
